Gundogan is out for 6 months due to a dislocated kneecap.

Ouch. Shame he has suffered so many injuries. Best midfielder around in 2013 for my money. Not enough proper midfielders around these days, everyone's either a defensive or attacking midfielder, midfielders for me should be able to do both.

He's had a couple of long term injuries though hasn't he? Wasn't he injured last season? I seem to recall when we were heavily linked to him there was concern that he'd been out for a while and maybe wasn't the same player.
