All I remember is that he rejected a move to Newcastle and then moved to PSG, where he really didn’t do much. His move to Frankfurt has been a good one but would definitely be reluctant to spend big money.

Yeah definitely with the likes of Sancho, Kagawa and Mkhitaryan coming to mind.

Looks like we’ve got a couple of good ones in Maz and De Ligt but like you I would be wary of these Bundesliga guys.

Not just for us I guess as well. Thinking of guys like Pulisic, Havertz, Werner to name a few who were super hyped in Germany but not replicated that in England.
 
Yeah there's been big hits as well like Aubameyang, De Bruyne, Son, Haaland and Gundogan all came from the Bundesliga. Sadly none of the hits played for us we've basically landed the duds although Kagawa/Mkhitaryan I think just came at the wrong time for Utd.

Just looking at his experience I think we'd be silly to bring in another young striker we need to find someone with a bit of proven pedigree. This one to me just feels like a bit of agent talk and rumour to create a headline during an international break.

Going to be a lot of competition for strikers this summer as everyone needs one and there aren't many good ones out there. Chelsea, Liverpool & Arsenal are probably all looking for a new striker this summer.
