The player has been further arrested on suspicion of rape relating to two other allegations of rape from another women from April 2021 and June 2021.

The player has been released on bail.

Player arrested for alleged rape not suspended

A Premier League player arrested on suspicion of rape has not been suspended and can "fulfil his professional commitments", his club have said.

He denies the charge and has been released on bail while the police continue their enquiry.

He hasn't been suspended by his club and will continue as normal unless their is a change in circumstances.
