ISU Statement - Tragic loss for Figure Skating community

The International Skating Union (ISU) and the entire skating community are heartbroken by the tragic loss of figure skaters, their coaches, and family members who were aboard American Airlines Flight 5342.

Very tragic for all involved.

An awful accident. Reading about the ages of those that have been lost too. Not that it would make it better if they were older but teenagers and their Mums dying and leaving families broken always hits that little harder.

Such a sad tragic accident. You just cannot imagine what the families must be going through losing loved ones so suddenly and so tragically.
