Yeah, sad news. He bought some much needed humour whilst still being passionate and ambitious.

A massive loss to the F1 world. I didn't realise how old he was. One of the last real privateer team owners.

He'd have been box office in the modern era where media get a lot more behind the scenes access.

Sad news to hear.

He was definitely a character in the era I actually used to watch F1. I think it was a much better era back then with a lot more characters and I felt the races had more excitement.

I think it's coming back in terms of excitement now.

Red Bull aren't as dominant as they were for the last few years after the recent rule changes the other teams have worked out their issues and can fight them now.

The first race was a bit mad due to the conditions which caught out a lot of drivers who were in new cars and probably hadn't driven in the rain.

A shock in the sprint race qualifying. After last weeks seeming domination and Norris being 6 tenths up in P1.

Hamilton puts his Ferrari on pole. Max second on the grid and Norris down in 6th.

I see the sprint is at 02:00. Doubt I will watch live but will try to catch the replay first thing in the morning.

Liam Lawson dropped from Red Bull. Two races has to be a record even for them.

I watched that drive to survive thing and to be honest it didn't really come across that they had much faith in him when they made the decision, from memory Tsunoda had a couple of bad performances around the decision time and to me it looked like that is what cost him his spot.

Just sounds like their car is a real handful if you're a top driver like Max you can make that thing fly but if you aren't at his level you can't get a tune out of it.

Probably better to put a more experienced driver in it for now.

Aren't they quite limited on how much time they actually get to spend driving the cars and getting used to them?
