Important to keep the momentum going in the EL and get into that top 8. No idea about how good these guys are but they are level on points with us, so clearly not the whipping boys.

Expect a fair few changes again with the Manchester Derby upcoming (gulp!).

They're currently second in their league with a 67% win rate.

I won't pretend to know anything about that league though, so I don't know exactly how good they are.

Best guess is they look like mild competition.

Our record away in Europe is terrible so not expecting a lot.

Going to be lots of changes again.

It's in the thread title but remember this is an early kick off tonight guys.

I'd managed to miss that until just now.

Got half an eye on it created naff all.

Rashford giving the ball away so much they’ve given up attacking down his side

He looked a mistake ready to happen first half but there he is striking calamity again.

Look forward to the defence of this one.

What have I been saying about this useless clown?
Should have been dropped for this game.

We really make things tough for ourselves.

That’s a bad one no excuses.

It’s European football our lot are still to stupid to understand the traps and fall for them every time.

It's been awful but come on lets rally and get the 3 points. Look better with Hojlund on.

Great away win

Second half much the better side, created 5 really good chances took 2 of them.

Bit like the weekend gifted the opponent their goal which needs to stop but going forward it felt better (weaker opponents obviously).

First away win in Europe in 18 months and are in with a good chance of a top 8 finish now.

Avoiding that 2 leg playoff would be a massive relief as it at least gives him 2 full rest weeks with the players.

The most amusing thing for me today was I had an ETH out guy message me saying the clown is out of his depth we should have kept Ruud. It took what 5 weeks?

Not sure it felt better going forward. We were yet again awful. It changed when Hojlund came on but no tactics or ideas today. We were shocking. There weren't any reasons for optimism from that game other than it was probably Mounts best cameo in a United shirt.

it wasnt great, but it was still a huge improvement on ETH

The guy couldn't buy a win a in Europe, let alone away to a team unbeaten at home.

if ETH was here, we'd be out the top tier.

"Tonight's defeat put an end to Viktoria Plzen's 12-match home unbeaten run in European competition (including qualifiers), with Manchester United the first side to beat the Czech club on home soil since Barcelona in November 2022"

Yes I was surprised too they have a good home record.

Interesting to see how much drama the last 2 games create in this new format.

There will likely be a few teams who's fate will already be decided in terms of top 8 or elimination but in theory in the last game there will be something to play for in the vast majority of the games.

Looking at the table if we beat Rangers we'll pretty much be through I reckon.

The last 10 minutes last night were suicidal. You've gone 2-1 up control the ball and see the game out not play in to their hands.

This squads game management is a joke.

I actually think with the Onana mistake the pass isn’t even the worst thing about it. The pass is really bad and I mean that’s just no excuse for that. But it’s the reaction after. He just kind of sticks one leg out but he’s nowhere near the ball it’s a token gesture.

For a squad full of internationals and experienced players we aren’t half naive!

I never have any confidence that these players will see out a game comfortably. And that’s under any manager!

Yeah was 100% at the idiotic players not the manager. No player should need the manager to tell them to put their foot on the ball and calm things down we don't need to go end to end and open things up.
