Think we’ve been very good tonight. The deficiencies in midfield and defence is still there to see, however overall it’s been pure dominance for the most part.
 
Need to be more clinical with these chances game should have been done.

Trialled a few ideas some worked some didn’t but if you don’t try them you’ll never learn.

Maz looks an absolute steal
Ugarte looking solid
Hojlund top class number 9 performance.
Onana saving our bacon again.
Mount did well on his return

Overall 3 more points and climbing back up the table with 3 games to go we’ve got a good chance of getting into the top 8 and avoiding the playoff.

This is absolutely mental. It was the exact same game we saw under ETH last season that you hated.

I don't understand the way you lot change. Please explain the difference between tonight and what we saw under ETH. It qas numerous missed chances. It was being torn apart easily by a side that should never score against us. This is absolutely mental that you enjoyed it.

It makes zero sense. And just shows how result oriented you are. You don't love Manchester United. You don't like football. You like wins. Unless it's a manager you've given up on.

Enjoyable game, respect to Bodo for playing so open when they only needed a point to stay ahead of us in the League, hope they win their own League on Sunday ....

Maz, Ugarte, Mount and Hojlund all had good games, and yes Malacia looked rusty, which was expected, but he will be a useful option going forward, and his HT substitution will have been pre-planned.

Rashford, no comment ....

And glad VAR missed the obvious hand-ball ouside the area late on from Onana, he should've got sent-off, it was nervy enough as it was but down to ten men would have been watching through the fingers time.

To be fair I am sure I speak for others when I say there were many a game under ETH like last night where we enjoyed the game. Our CL games against Gala and Copenhagen were enjoyable even if the result wasn’t what we wanted. Not sure why it’s embarrassing or pathetic to declare you’ve enjoyed a game of football!

Last night was a much more controlled performance though, however tinged with vulnerabilities.

Also if you cannot enjoy a game then what’s the point of watching it!

Not sure why every post has to be confrontational! That’s mental to me!
 
I think one of the main improvements is, we are not giving possession up so easily. I also quite like the WB's are on the touchline providing a lot of width. We were quite narrow before.
It's also enjoyble because it's a new style, I'm enjoying seeing it try and be played.

It's more entertaining because we have a purpose, a style. Not just 11 players playing. When was the last time we provided a cross for our CF like for Hojlunds second. I mean we probably have. I just prefer this way to play. Eth was a lot of passing between the back 4, pass it forward, not sure what to do with it, shoot.

It's a completely different way to play, I am surprised we cannot see that

If you want my take last night was like a good ETH performance but those under ETH were often contained to 45 minutes. We had a bit of a wobble from 15-30 but after that we had it under control.

We pressed as a team, we adapted the tactics quickly to change the momentum in the game. I always felt Ten Hag would make the adjustment to late.

We still wasted chances that’s down to personnel rather than management.

Thought we pressed well it looked organised and everyone was buying into it but it’s still a work in progress.

The ball wasn’t turned over as easily a lot of our moves ended with a cross into the box or a shot.

Should have killed them off but didn’t and could have easily paid the price.

It was a good performance and we got 3 points but Everton will be a much tougher test.
 
I missed the first 15 minutes because of the queues at the turnstiles. It’s ridiculous and going to cause lots of frustration if it continues.

You and Justin Cider are definitely massive reasons why this place is so empty.

It'll just become not worth the problem to me and I'll stop posting, so again it's just the forum's loss.

It is when we had the same sort of games under ETH as you state. And the same people said they had no enjoyment.

I do agree with your last statement. Just the hypocritical behaviour post match in the last two games does my head in.

The post match love in for performances when we've seen the same under ETH. And the same people critical of it yes.

Everyone else can see some small improvement except you and you reckon everyone else is wrong but you know more than the rest? Laughable.
Love in? it’s not been close to that it’s your bitterness and that semi you still have for Eth clouding your judgment.
 
It's not even comparable anyways, that should be obvious. To say the football is just the same shows a total lack of understanding of what you're watching.

The thing is though, after only two games people can see an identity emerging and a style of play. The coach has already shown the ability to change tactics mid match and come from behind in a european game.

There is still a lot of work to do to, but the main thing is the team does not look stagnant anymore.

It's night and day after two games.

The rest see a draw against a poor Ipswich side that outplayed us and poor finishing against a side that tore us apart defensively.

I'd actually agree with it. JR JayC and me should be banned. It'd make a much better forum. It'd be a shame because I thoroughly enjoyed the forum before those 'two' came along. And you yourself thought i was a good member.

I called it as a mod at the time and said they were toxic but was ignored. Prevailed I was correct. He thought it was a targeted attack of me on him but it was just he/they add nothing to discussion.

Eventually you just join in that discussion technique.

It's you causing most of the disruption telling everyone how wrong they are in the post match discussion then cry when anyone disagrees with your constant whinging, if I get banned fine I wouldn't lose any sleep by not looking in here reading the constant repeated negative stuff you dish up. Guys let’s just cut the nonsense. You say you wouldn’t lose sleep if you were banned (And I’m sure you wouldn’t) but you all care enough to post on here regularly. More regularly than most other members actually.

Voice your opinion but do it in a constructive way. Because sometimes you’ll be right, other times you’ll be wrong (I’ll wait for the smart comment) and other times an opinion can be right at one point and then wrong at another because things change.
 
I don't see why I should be banned at all. I've put up with IDFD on my back for almost a year and said barely nothing about it. I've been accused of being a closet Liverpool fan, and a bad fan; that I don't even like my team and that I hate foreigners. I've been called countless names and had to deal with various other attacks. Am I perfect? No. But I don't attempt to bully people off the forum and attack them persistently.

I actually sent IDFD a DM in the hope we just squash whatever problem he has with me - his respsone was to ignore it. Yes, very mature.

There is nothing more I can do about a person with so much hate in his heart. It's a problem he has to deal with.

My feelings on the whole thing is that IDFD is the centre of all of it. You can read his posts going back years in which he has crazy confrontations with loads of people and brings the worst out in them. It's all there to read. All the proof you want.

He's the catalyst.

Once again though - I'm happy to let it all go. I don't have time for grudges and to be fair I don't even hate him. It's not worth the energy.

I don't think any of us need banned. IDFD needs to learn/show humility and respect and we'll be fine.
