He will want to settle on an XI quite quickly but everyone needs to learn the system.
 
think if you play those two together then the wing backs need to be proper wingers.

Can probably get away with it in the europa league. But I still can't see how it works in England.

I think he'll transition to a 4-2-1-3 start of next season. Using two holders to allow the full backs to get forward. But still having 4 back when in transition. Which is ultimately what he wants.

He doesn't want both wing backs flying forward he wants them to play intelligently when one goes the other stays and I don't think Garnacho has that intelligence.
 
I don't see him switching from the 3-4-3 that's his system if it doesn't work I think he'd rather be sacked than change it as stupid as that sounds that seems to be the way modern managers think.

If it's done really well there's no reason why it shouldn't work the challenge is to get all XI players working together to stop the gaps appearing which was a big problem under ETH when the forwards pressed the defence often dropped creating a big gap for teams to play through.
 
He's pretty much said he wont change it.

Who knows, maybe in 4 years every one will be playing that, when Peps gone
 
If Rashford doesn't come on and make an impression as a sub tonight he will be fighting for his Manchester United future against Everton on Sunday. January exit on the cards methinks
 
We need to win it.

Not expecting us to suddenly look amazing going to take weeks to be this new system in but we should have enough here as long as players don't make silly mistakes to give goals away.
 
Looking at the accounts, Rashford is going nowhere unless that money can be spent on a new striker.

I personally think it's a total unknown. Coaches will know we're in transition and can be beaten.

Glad Rashford’s been dropped I hope the message here is everyone will get a chance, take that chance or you are out of the team. There’s no excuse for lack of effort, sadly I don’t think Rashford will be upset by this though he doesn’t look up for the challenge.
Antony’s chance to show us and the manager what he’s all about tonight, glad Eriksen and Case are out too.

New is always exciting but new doesn’t always mean better.

I just want to see progress through the season now I’ve accepted it’s going to be a bit of 1 step forward 2 back and any European football next season will be a bonus.

Interested to see Hojlund tonight can we create chances for him.

I am too. I always said it wasn't fair on him being judged as a striker with no supply. I had to be fair though and rate his other abilities fairly and he was starting to look like a little bit of a horror show. Hopefully this new start can show us what he's really capable of because I like him and want him to succeed. It was never happening without this change and I'm still not sure he's in Amorim's long term plans though, as we know who he really wants.

He knows where the net is but he needs to do more for himself.

Hopefully there’s a bit more of a plan of attack under the new boss. I don’t really care who scores as long as it looks like we are going to score 2 or 3 most games as that is what it takes now.

And yes, I want to see a much better plan of attack, it's so crucial to win/do well in our league.
 
This group of players… they are just so poor and their work rate is so bad. Amorim has one hell of a job on his hands because he needs to make them better (with limited talent) and find a work rate in them.
