Really? I didn't watch the game but I listened on the radio for the second half and all I heard was... Spain have the ball and again and again. Oh that's an Italian throw in or goal kick or free kick... Oh and 10 minutes later they put the ball back in play.
In the first half Italy were very enterprising and they could have been 3-4 up at half time like Bob said. In the second half it went to type and they needed to defend stoutly. But on the break they were dangerous and Eder should have scored when one on one. Basically De Gea prevented Spain getting well and truly hammered!
