France: Lloris, Sagna, Rami, Koscielny, Evra, Pogba, Kante, Matuidi, Griezmann, Giroud, Payet.

Ireland: Randolph, Coleman, Keogh, Duffy, Ward, Brady, McCarthy, Hendrick, McClean, Long, Murphy.

Just switched on the game. Was award of the penalty the correct decision?

Shame because for the first half they were pretty well organised and defended well. In the end though ill discipline got the best of them so I hope Roy doesn't rip them for it.

Very spirited performance - felt we were worth our lead in the first half but probably tired a bit towards the end. France were much better in the second half too.

Overall a very encouraging tournament. The likes of Hendrick and Brady really stepped up which bodes well for the future. Jack Byrne of Man City will also likely be introduced during the WC Qualifies, he's a great talent, so we should have a strong, youthful midfield consisting of those lads for the years to come.
