The period of play in the second half was very encouraging. The attacking play was great to watch. There was a bit of the old buzz back in the crowd.

Yeah it was very very good to see... With the pace and power this team now has I think we will see a lot more of that as the year progresses.
There were missed opportunities tonight but it's only the second game so players are still finding their form and touch and even fitness.
Thought martial really started to open them up with his pace. Pogba suddenly started to turn it on, Ibra was looking to get involved and the full backs were bombing on. When you think that Mkhitaryan looked really good when he came on with his touch, skills and vision and Rashford will play a part it's going to be an exciting season I think
Still would like to see Jose release the shackles a little bit earlier but it's still early in the season so I'm sure we will see that. At 2-0 the players really went for it but they were smart enough to realise that when they didn't extend their league they just needed to do their jobs properly and see it out.
