Not sure bringing in players from Serie A is a wise move. It’s a very different league and historically players who’ve come to us from Italy have struggled.

the biggest question is, where are they going to find 50-60m

The bank of big Jim.

I reckon even without European football there will still be around 100m to spend in the summer before sales.

Rashford’s transfer fee will massively contribute towards any spending next summer.

Be surprised if we get anything over £45m.

Garnacho is the big one if you want to sell and make big money.

A transfer fee plus having him off the wage bill makes a huge difference to what we can spend.

£100m isn’t going to get you a lot though in todays market?

Depends how well you negotiate and find players with low release fees or expiring contracts.

He isn’t going to get to overhaul the squad in 1 summer.

If we get into Europe then then budget goes up as well, same if we manage a few sales.

Utd will free up quite a lot of the wage bill this summer with contracts expiring but they probably need to get Casemiro and Rashford off that wage bill in the summer.

Just scored an absolute banger by Barcelona.

Sign him up.

Be surprised if he's not on our targets list

Sounds like he's probably on quite a lot of peoples lists.

I'm not sure we'll be operating with a massive budget this summer and it doesn't sound like he's got a release clause in his deal.

Maybe Atalanta will take Hojlund back in exchange :p

Surely the Hojlund deal warrants a significantly discount on a deal for Ederson?;)
