Drinkwater joins Cardiff City on loan

Cardiff City Football Club can confirm that we have reached an agreement with Manchester United for the loan signing of talented young Old Trafford midfielder Daniel Drinkwater.

Not seen much of him, he was on loan at Huddersfield last year and they got to the League One Play Offs but lost to Millwall.

I saw some of his games and i really liked it. He made some good performances by Huddersfield, despite playing out of position on some of these. Was he plagued to some injuries as well, But he made a good season there. This Can be a great move to him. With Joe Ledley probably leaving, Danny can have a lot of first team action.

Good point with Ledley leaving. And with their financial situation they're unlikely to be able to buy anyone else in that position. Hopefully he can stay injury free and knuckle down and maybe have the season Cleverley had with Watford last season.

He's 20 now so it's probably now or never for him.
