I will make an effort to keep this more updated this season.

We got relegated last year so down to the National League South. Didn't mean my season ticket price went down though!

Over the off season we made some key changes. Charlie Carter is now captain and has signed a new 3 year full time deal.

Josh Taylor has signed a 3 year deal and for the first time we are offering full time contracts.

Unfortunately Male left. I think he'll go on to big stuff.

We made a few signings that you may have actually hard of. Brennan Camp, Norville Willaims and the one I think you'll have heard of Rhys Murphy.

Alfie Ruthorford hopefully back to full fitness will be the difference this season. We expect to go straight back up.

Open up the season today away to Truro.

Opened the season with a 2-1 win away.

Muitt (I like to Muitt Muitt) and Carter with the goals.

Wasn't this a clash of the 'next big things failures'?

This is a serious question - is Angie [sorry Callum] still running the place?

I don't know the answer to that, but George was localish, I had a beer with him in his local.

I was 9 years old outside the players entrance and he patted me on the head after signing an autograph. He also told me not to worry and that Bobby was always miserable :)

What I meant was, thats probably why they were involved, probably George's nearest club

Ah, with you :)

I was just commenting on the fact that in the documentary, Callum was constantly talking to his Mum asking for advice[mind you, she probably knows more about football than him, just by having being porked by one]. He was just full of American psychobabble shit.

He's only involved in the womans side. He's the chairman for Dorking Ladies. The mens side is run entirely seperately from him. Marc White is Founder, Chairman and Manager.

Not sure if it was the next big thing failures. Truro have recently got a new stadium. Dorking now have their own stadium which they've purchased off of the council and have had 12 promotions and 1 relegation in 25 years. Both teams are doing well. The relegation is obviously a set back but for where the club belong they were punching being in the National League (All 3 part time teams in the league last season got relegated)

What's the recent results?

Tuesday night. 2-2 draw with Boreham Wood. They're second favourites for the league so was a decent result they were the better side though we took the lead twice and like last season can't hold on and again much like last season injuries are already an issue. Jason Prior with a double.

Yesterday we played Turquay away. I didn't get up to the game. But we apparently played poorly. Lost 1-0. I've nit watched the highlights yet.

We've got St Albans at home tomorrow.

7 points from a possible 12. Sit 7th in the league but have already played the other 3 in the league expected to be in contention. 1 win 1 draw 1 loss.

Down to 14 first team players. Picked up 4 injuries Tuesday.

Rhys Murphy looks out for a while. Kuhl could be done for the season but waiting on further scans.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a return to winning ways. St Albans I expect will bring good support pretty much a direct train from St Albans to Dorking.

I was right about St Albans support. They were quality.

We were 1-0 down at half time. We made 2 subs in the first half and 2 at half time. One of them was a surprising inclusion. Rhys Murphy came on at half time. Got a double.

2-1 win.

2 more dissapointing results follow the St Albans win.

2-2 vs Eastbourne away. Really good away support for this. Their fans clapped us at half time as they were walking by us to get to the bar. Took the lead on the half hour through a mare from their keeper heavy touch allowed Briggs to nick the ball away from him and he had himself an open goal to slot in to. They equalised quickly after half time slotting a one on one. Seb Bowerman then put us back in to the lead slotting away a rebound after the keeper saved from Carter. Then came the heartbreak finish. 99th minute and down the other end from us after a heading back and forth in our box they looped one over the keeper. I didn't think it had gone in but asked Gallagher after the game and he said it definitely crossed the line.

I made an evening of it and got a hotel down in Eastbourne and caught up with an old school friend who moved down there. Nice area and sitting on the pier in the sun with a beer and listening to a live band playing made up for the 2 points dropped. Until the 4 clock kick off which made the journey home feel even longer!

Aveley away - Lost 3-1. I didn't go to this game with it being Monday night. But we went there with them in the bottom 3 and us realistically expecting to push up the table. Instead they quickly found themselves 1-0 and then 2-0 down inside half hour. Aveley went down to 10 which I thought would open the game up for Dorking and allow us back in but instead Aveley got the next goal to make it 3-0. Dorking got a late consolutation goal in the 94th.

The DWFTV videos aren't up for these yet as they were the Saturday and Monday just gone. After 7 games it's 11 points. Find ourselves down in 10th. 6 points off the pace. A dissapointing start to the season and the injuries like last season are piling up.

Francombe, Camp, Kuhl, Moore, Norville Williams, Prior, Murphy, McShane, Taylor are all missing through injury this weekend as well as Bobby Joe Taylor missing through suspension. That's 7 of our first 11 out with injury.

St Albans, now there's a blast from the past, used to spend a week there, and a week at Harpenden staying with me Dads sisters the last two weeks of the Summer holidays, the joys of catching a train into London most days to stroll around all the big stores and buy sod all ....

Signed Josh Brooking this morning who was released by Chelsea in the summer.

Don't know too much about him but in the press release when they released him said he's a RB that can play CB. Assume he's coming in because Camp is out for 8 weeks and we need some bodies.

Got sent off against United in a Premier League 2 game so a few may have seen him play.

In the Fanzone murmurs of Mark White out.

You can imagine how much that's annoying me!

Last week for the second season running local team Horsham knocked us out the cup. We must have had about 75% just couldn't score. Done us 1-0.

Weston Supermare today. Josh Taylor another added to the injury list. Signed former Sutton player Rob Milson as cover on Thursday who immediately makes his first start today. 1-0 up in 5 minutes! Charlie Carter. Need 3 points today the atmosphere is already turning to one of we could find ourselves in another relegation battle here from some!

Finished 1-1 they got a goal back just before half time.

A weird day. None of the top 6 won and only 2 of the top 11.

Leaves us 13th on 12 points from 9 games. 4 points off of the play offs.

Brooking also got a late red so another player missing for the next game. We've got a week off next week as it's the FA Cup weekend so hopefully a chance to get a few bodies back.

Don't see this often!

Following an appeal to the FA, Josh Brooking's red card against Weston-super-Mare has been overturned.

Josh will be available for selection in our next fixture versus Hornchurch at Meadowbank on 5th October.

Over the weekend we returned home for our first home game in a month and our first game in 2 weeks and got back to winning ways.

It was a dominant display in the first half. Alfie opened the scoring with a strike from 35 yards plus. Then Carter scored a lovely strike about 60 seconds later.

They got one back with a horrific mix up at the back and it was 2-1 at half time.

Prior came on at half time. And got the 3rd to give us a comfortable 2 goal cushion back.

All of our Saturday October games are down Meadowbank so can hopefully go on a run. Should be busy this Saturday. National Non League day. Tickets are £10 and pints £4 all day.

After 10 games we are 12th. 6 points off of the leaders.

Top of the league in town today. 2 up inside 15. Carter and Alfie. Come on!!! Bloody soaked.

Went 3-0 up. Then they scored a worldie from 35 yards. Then got a penalty and we got a straight red. 3-2.

Ended up hanging on for a result. Absolutely insane from the fans and the team. Got over the line. Exhausted!

Another ridiculous game.

Dorking when 2-0 up both lovely goals from Jack Young.

Then they went down to 10.

Still 2-0 up in the 87th minute. Penalty given. 2-1. 94th minute. 2-2. 97th minute 3-2 to them. 99th minute 3-3.

Couldn't even tell you who got it. Think it was Bobby Joe.

Lost 1-0 midweek. In a game we dominated. Had 2 cleared off the line and missed 5 or 6 clear cut chances.

Won 2-1 today. Alfie got us the lead. Then there was no football played between the 26th and 47th minute. Injury to their keeper. Hope he's okay but only 11 mins added on seemed weird.

But our second. Will be up there for goal of the season. Knees it over the on coming CB and drills it on the volley. Sure it'll be all over social media. Was special.

May have got a little over excited in the moment. Wasn't a goal of the season contender or a knee over the CB but still a lovely goal.
