'Uefa cares about money not players'
Thibaut Courtois accuses football governing bodies of prioritising money over the welfare of players, who he feels are being treated like "robots".

Hard to really argue with what he's saying the club game is also set to expand in a few years time with the CL moving from 6 group game to 10 group games.
It's easy to go at the players and say if you don't want to play so much football stop asking for higher wages but equally the clubs should be working together to drive down those wages but they don't.
I am with him more football is not going to be good for the game and cutting out the pointless matches such as 3rd/4th place play offs in international tournaments is a good start.
The footballers union needs to start showing some teeth on this stuff FIFpro should really be the ones who put a stop to the idea of a world cup every two years by saying their players will not turn up to it as they need rest.
