Christopher Nkunku

Yeah but do we really want to develop their talent and screw over our own.

If we went for Ferguson we’d have to have an option to buy him at the end.
I just don't think bar some goals in European competitions that Rasmus is offering enough

he's not only not offering enough, he's losing possession all the time

I don't disagree however there is no point bringing in a guy like Ferguson on loan if we don't have the option to buy him at the end.

Say he comes in and he looks the real deal do we really want to go to Brighton to negotiate a price or just let them have a fully fit and confident youngster back?

Meanwhile we're left with 2 strikers who's value has plummeted again.

It would be similar if we went for Nkunku a loan deal where we have the option to keep him if he fits in.

Ferguson's stats aren't that different to Hojland. 23/24 league, 27 matches, 6 goals. 22/23, 19 and 6.

If you're going to criticise United for splashing out on Hojland, based on his stats, how can you be looking at Ferguson?

Maybe stats alone don't tell the whole story?

I think because his all round play is better.

And we are talking about loan targets, there are not many about.

Were a lot of those games as sub?

Like JSP has said, I can't see the point of loaning a competitor's player if we're not looking to sign him. Different if it's an overseas player.

Doesn’t even sound like we going to be desperate enough to go for Nkunku!

Could be it for signings for us unless that Tel grows some legs!

We are in major need of goals and more attacking the rest and we sign a left back and a teenage central defender! Make it make sense!

Sounds like everything is going quiet for us.

Reckon if it's anything it will be a winger/number 10 player rather than a striker.

we cannot carry on this season with Zirkzee and Hojlund surely.

Even Mainoo up top was an improvement

I think they're just writing the season off at this point.

No point wasting a few million on a loan deal that might move us from 14th to 10th.

Save the money for the summer and just let this season fizzle out.

Couldn't care less about the summer, INEOS are nothing but Glazers 2

I think that's harsh they're trying to sort out the Glazers mess for them.

God knows why but they seem to be the ones who've got the job of fixing their years of using Utd as their own personal piggy bank, running up massive credit card debts on a load of over priced tat.

We can't carry on just chucking money around because the money is gone it's now time to fix it and that probably doesn't involve spending £3-4m on wages for a loan player who at best will turn a really terrible season into a terrible season.

if thats whats going on, then the manager needs a bit more slack/respect.

Not having it, they knew there was a very strong chance Rashford and Antony could be leaving in this window. They should have focused on strikers where there wasn't a loan fee involved if they wanted to be so penny pinching. It's absolutely diabolical planning and not acceptable whatsoever.

Nkunku deal was never close according to Fabrizio Romano.
Garnacho is set to stay, that is an internal decision.

Which other club is going to give you a half decent striker on loan without a loan fee and wages being paid? Nkunku with wages and a loan fee would probably cost us £6-7m for half a season.

We were in this exact position 2 years ago and had to pay Burnley a loan fee to get Weghorst. 2 years before that it was Ighalo.

I honestly believe there was some, however that would have needed you know time and planning
