You can never tell with precautionary boots but that may well be his season over for the lad which would be such a shame for him as the upcoming games against Barcelona would be his stage.
 
Hopefully it’s just the medical team being cautious but I guess they need to get him off for scans today and find out the impact.

Horrible luck for Eriksen he was having a decent season and will be missed.

With Donny also out that pretty much means there's only going to be 1 centre mid on the bench.

A big chance for players like Mainoo and Iqbal to maybe get some first team chances.

They can't even get someone in on loan as we've already got Butland and Weghorst.
 
Really big blow, he’s been brilliant for this season with his assists and general play.

Fred and McT will have to step up. I suspect Casemiro is going to be a very tired man come the end of the season, can’t see him having that many breaks!
 
Think we're going to see an awful lot of Fred Case in MF from here on out. Bruno is going to have to carry a lot of the creative threat on his own.

Don't worry Casemiro will sort it out.

That's basically my new philosophy for watching Utd.
 
I doubted the Casemiro signing based on his age and money. Idiot.

I just wished we could freeze him until the rest of the team is good enough, because we'll need to replace him by that time

Gutted Eriksen is out, could be a big problem for us
 
Think most of us were worried about it given what we got from Varane but he seems to loving it at Utd and dragging everyone else up to his level.

He isn't perfect but there's so many other parts to his game that we probably didn't expect he's an excellent all round midfielder.

He's been a huge help to Eriksen who isn't really a centre mid but they've managed to get a pretty decent partnership going.
 
His importance was highlighted tonight. United had no one in midfield to dictate and the play making was left to the centre backs. He’s not the long term answer but he is important to this team.
 
Not sure you can say one over the other they'd got a good understanding and shared the attacking/defensive responsibility.

When one went the other stayed and both are capable of those quick long range balls out to wide areas to release forwards.

Losing both at the same time is a massive headache.
 
Great news he’s back training and could be available shortly. We definitely need him back and firing for the run-in.
 
It cannot be denied that Eriksen and Casemiro gave us such a boost, and no doubt we would have been fairing much better in recent times had we been able to maintain that pairing.
We will finish the season strongly. I do believe that.

Great news I was hoping he might be back for the Sevilla game, hopefully get to see him off the bench tomorrow.
 
Brilliant to have him back. Nice little cameo and he showed what United have missed in his absence. It’s great to have two creative players in the team and not be over reliant on Bruno. He’ll be a key player in the run in.
 
Straight away he was making those little passes forward which is great to have back. Think he’s going to be so important in the run-in - can’t wait to see him back in tandem with Casemiro.
 
Top performance. He bossed midfield. He brings control to midfield that allows the likes of Bruno to flourish.
 
His mobility has deteriorated, he is unable to cover ground. United will struggle to press with Eriksen in midfield. I can see why Ten Hag wants Mount. Eriksen can be a good squad option.
 
Happy to keep him as a squad option but we do need someone with more energy in there. He looked gassed after 15 minutes.
 
Game passed him by today, shame really, but worth keeping around as an option in midfield. When he is on it he is a joy to watch ....
 
When put in against the very best he comes up short, it’s to much to ask of him and it is why a new centre mid this summer is essential.

Handy player off the bench next season his fresh legs against players that have played 60 minutes could be handy.

Refreshing honesty, so much better than he's shit, he's shit, he's shit .....
 
He was never a long term solution. after his injury he's been poor. But definitely a good squad player rather than starter
