Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham are monitoring Brentford striker Bryan Mbeumo (13 goals in 21 Premier League games).

None of the three have yet made a move for the Cameroonian international, but his situation is one to monitor until the end of the transfer window.

Really really good player and I think he is ready to take himself to the next level. He’s only 25 and really improved each year he’s been in the EPL.

Would cost a small fortune but I read he’s only got a year left but Brentford do have an option to extend by a year, however this is probably the summer to really get a good fee as right now his stock is very high.

I would say this is the sort of signing SAF would be all over. Looks a good fit for an Amorim system as well.

Contract is up in 2026 so this summer will be the last chance they’ll have to get a fee.

Not sure where he’d play in the Amorim system at Brentford he’s played in a front 2 most of the time but he’s a good player.

I would think £40-50m is the right sort of money maybe a few add ons.

His record in the Prem has been good ever since they came up.

If he does leave he'll be a very difficult player to replace.

Brentford must be the only side in the league who play with 2 up front so the challenge will be can he adapt.

He’s very versatile though, he has played as a partnership with Wissa and Toney but he’s also adept at playing on the right and as an inside forward. I think he’s got that skill set similar to Amad.

He’s a bit of a no brainer signing for me and less of a risk as someone like David which @Mr C mentioned.

Davids goal records are better

I really like the way David plays, his hold up and the positions he takes up. I think he could be really useful. But we'll never know until somebody gambles on him. Surprised Arsenal don't go for him to be honest.

Yeah I really like him. Heard Liverpool were quite keen on him if Salah does leave and to be honest if they come in we'll probably struggle to get him.

I tend to agree if you can buy "proven" premier league players you should because it's less risk.

I'd say he's a different player to David who's more of your traditional number 9.

Yeah heard those Liverpool rumblings in the summer, they may start again if Salah does leave like you say.

Can’t say I know much about David but Mbuemo is a different sort of player. We would definitely need another striker in even if we bought him.

I think there is a few EPL players knocking about that I could see making that step up. Kerkez at Bournemouth and Robinson at Fulham to name a couple.

Yeah think Utd will be looking for a CF and another number 10 in the summer to refresh that attack.

The issue is if you buy from the Prem you pay a premium because clubs aren't under as much pressure to sell.

And his record prior to this season is similar to what we have. Not great

119 games 35 goals 24 assists since he got promoted.

That’s a decent output for a mid table side.

I’m not convinced that Cunha isn’t an average player having a good spell of form.

I like the player a lot, he'd fit anywhere in the front three.

I just remember him missing loads of easy chances last season.

He’s looked a different player this year I’m just not fully sold that this isn’t a bit of a purple patch.

Mbeumo I think has been consistent for 2-3 seasons now. Works his socks off too not to say Cunha doesn’t.

To me quality is determined by consistency which is why if I had to pick one I’d go for Mbeumo.
