Individually yes. But as a team player in a team that wants to keep possession I do not thinks so.We do need better game management from Bruno. He is probably the best player at the club but as captain needs to demand the highest standards of himself and the squad.
Hi Greame,BF is now a liability. Not captain material. Loses possession more often than not. Flails arms like a petulant toddler, and lashes out at opponents when nothing goes right. Undisciplined. Bad example to younger players in squad. I could go on - Get rid of him!
Probably Harry M. Not many apparent leaders in the squad though, regrettably.Hi Greame,
Welcome to the forum.
Who should be the captain?
Unfortunately the fans booed him out of that roll.Probably Harry M. Not many apparent leaders in the squad though, regrettably.
He's been brilliant all season. Just gets nonsense criticism.Been better since amorim arrived, doesn't give away possession so quickly/easily
He's improved, the whole team keeps the ball better, which is why our possession stats are better.
Agree. He played with great control today. Very calm on the ball.Been better since amorim arrived, doesn't give away possession so quickly/easily
He makes the sublime look easy. It's why he doesn't get the praise he warrants. That finish was so much harder than he made it look.
I can't stand him, inconsistent, the only thing he does well on a regular basis is whinge and whine, for me he's part of the problem, when you have the club captain whining and throwing his arms in the air, what sort of message is that sending out to the other players.
I don't think he could motivate a starving pig to eat.
Amorim had the chance to choose another Captain, that is what he should have done.
De Ligt, no rule says the Captain has to take the penalties![]()
