Most opposing fans I know loathe him and think he is a spoilt c*** - it is especially gratifying to see how much he annoys Leeds fans.

Ohh yeah everyone thinks he's a dick. Doesn't stop them appreciating he's a top player.

I couldnt stand Suarez. Still knew the guy was supremely talented!

I think there's a genuine conversation to be had about how good is Bruno NOW and is he starting to decline.

You can't deny his talent but his ability to deliver consistently has to be a worry.

I do think there are parts of his game that have declined in recent years which is a problem. I think he's lost a little bit of his speed and his finishing has declined.

Most of the sides we're competing with who have a player like Bruno in their sides have one who's of similar ability but younger and still improving we've probably seen the best of Bruno and now things will be on the way down.

I don't know if the finishing is a confidence thing I suspect it is if he can get that back to the sort of standard he had in the first few years it would make a big difference to how people view him.

As for other fans I think they recognise him as being a good player but I doubt many consider him to be World Class and most of them likely agree that he's an absolute c*ck because lets face it he is.

I thought the red was harsh on Sunday but it was a petulant move by him which was rather unnecessary.

I don’t think many fans from the top clubs in this country look at Bruno and think wow I wish we had him in our team. There maybe a few but I would guess the percentage would be supremely low. That figure may have been higher a few years ago but in his current form nope.

You all said this last year about him then at the end of the season awarded him the same level in grading as Dalot.

It becomes hard to take what you say seriously.

Didn't he end the season on par with Odegaard, by some of your claims?

F*cking hilarious.

Bruno had a very good end to last season and pretty much dragged us to that cup final on one leg.

You'd do well to remember that before flying off at people.

You were one of the people shouting about how he should go too, then changed it to him having a season as good as dalot, and now you're back to him needing to leave..... jesus.

No you give your opinion as do I and everyone else on here.

You were one of the people shouting about how he should go too, then changed it to him having a season as good as dalot, and now you're back to him needing to leave..... jesus.

Was I?

Pretty sure I said in the summer if there's a chance to bank a big transfer fee for him then Utd should probably think long and hard about it.

Where have I said he now needs to leave? I've said he needs to be subbed when he's not playing well.

Pretty sure I've consistently said if he plays like he was playing at the end of last season on a regular basis then there's no issue the problem is this season his form has dropped again which is a problem.

I'm not debating it, I know what you said. I read it.

I think players who perform well in a Utd shirt deserve to be rewarded.

Wages are always going to go up that's just the nature of football.

The pressure is now on Bruno to repay that faith he needs to make sure we see the Bruno from the last 3 months of last season more often than we were over the last 3 seasons. We can't have another Rashford situation where we reward a good season then the players form drops off a cliff.

My exact words after his new deal was announced.

So no I don't think I ever said I wanted him to leave, I said that I thought he might leave as I felt he was open to offers in the summer. Looks like that was probably a bit of a negotiation tactic to get himself a new contract.

All I want is for Bruno to be at his best more often that we currently see he's missing to many chances that a player of his quality should be taking. That is something that's totally under his control and has nothing to do with the system when the chances come to him he needs to start banging a few of them in the net.

He was exactly the same last season - poor for most if it, and overrated beyond belief by all of you.

To be clear though that doesn't mean I want him gone. He's not someone I'd look to sell right now, but he's always been a player that either provides it all or nothing.

I think you need to understand that, and support him or don't.

Was always going to be the case. It would have been a harsh yellow. Was a shocking decision.

Think with an overturned decision though questions have to be asked of VAR. It's literally what it's there for.

This high bar intervention stuff causes massive confusion.

The VAR should be sending that to an on field review by the ref who would have downgraded to a yellow.

That’s what the system was designed for but we’ve decided to do it another way.

They maybe need to change the system so that straight reds and second yellows are only awarded by VAR

The red should have been rescinded on field what a joke these officials are, that kind of decision can strongly influence the result, I’m getting more dissalusioned with football with each passing season.

What is VAR even there for? After watching multiple replays you can ultimately see it’s never a red card! It seems like VAR has gone full circle, now they seem reluctant to change any of the refs decision. Still a shambles.

We may not have come back in the game but there was always a chance, so good to see it overturned but still hard to stomach.

This idea of the high bar or the refs call is what massively clouds every decision.

I feel a bit sorry for the ref that is exactly the sort of decision he’d want a second look at to make sure.

Honestly VAR is something I’d scrap in a heartbeat it has not made the game better.

In this instance, it's not made the game worse either. No VAR still a red.
VAR for me should be pens and offside. That's it.
And offside will be semi automatic soon

This what happens when new smart tech is introduced but the ones using it are still thick as pigs***

The tech can't think for itself it still requires a human to operate it and analyse it because so many decisions are subjective.

Even with the offsides there's still decisions where automated won't work as that can't determine if a player is active or not.

The officials were probably getting 95% of decisions correct before VAR maybe with VAR they're getting to 97-98% but they'll never get to 100% and is that small gain really worth all the hassle that VAR brings.

At the moment it feels like VAR is there to monitor the refs performance not to help him. All it's doing is telling him he's wrong it isn't being used to help him make a better decision.

Refereeing the game is really hard to do at the top level because it's so fast.

Europa League: Porto 3-3 Manchester United - 3rd October 2024

Unlucky to be sent off. He was poor again and has been poor all season bar the cameo against Burnley.

Another mild one, but you can't put your foot up that high
Saw a report today saying he's United's worse captain. Not sure I can disagree really

Who was the captain when we were relegated?

I don’t think he’s the worst captain we’ve ever had.

Performance level currently not good enough though and he needs to sort that out.

Yeah. You need to stop reading ABU material.

He's not the worst captain of the last 18 months. Laughable suggestion.

Wouldn't make the top 3 worst captains of the last decade.

Short term memories with an axe to grind really is an issue on this forum.

We went through Maguire, a past it Valencia, an under performing Young and a Rooney that tried to force a move to City twice.

In his only full season has captain he played sweeper whilst injured and playing on one foot to keep Liverpool at bay and was instrumental in ensuring we won that trophy.

Not sure Young, Valencia or Maguire had anywhere near that impact as captain.

Definitely not the worst captain but certainly not anywhere near the best. He frustrates me with his constant little tantrums when teammates give the ball away - not sure that’s what a leader should be doing.

Needs to really sharpen up his game this season. Been pretty poor so far.
