Salzburg is a selling club.Could be a case of striking a deal where we send him back to Salzburg for a year and he comes when Ronaldo has gone. Although he could still go in this window I guess.
If he’s been scouted and he’s rated then just got to go spend the money. No point waiting a year or two and he’s worth £80-90m.
Then they should pay that. If they think he's the next next big or has the potential to be then they should pay that.I read they want 45m
This isn't a dig at Utd but signing for us or any top premier league club unless he's already a world class centre forward would be a mistake.
The jump he is making is huge unless he's good enough to go straight into our first team.
Everyone I've asked that's actually watched him thinks he's going to be incredible. I've never seen him myself but haven't had anyone doubt how good he is. Sounds like a top talent from what I'm being told and if £45m is the price just get the deal done.
Weird @ JSP, you always bang on about we shouldn't be buying players at 80m but getting them the move before. To do that you need to gamble. At 45m for this kid it sounds like it's very worth a punt.
Seems to be the new name doing the rounds.
Young Striker from RB Salzsburg.
Anyone heard much about him.
Think you need to upgrade your broadband mate, we've been linked to the Sesko Kid since Ralf the Kingmaker was in charge.
Easy to miss a name when we're linked with 100 players but I can confidently say until about a week ago I'd never heard of this kid.
Depends how closely you follow other Leagues I guess, but it's usually easy to filter out the God I hope that is true, from the Mmm maybes, from the nah seriously doubt its, and the never in a million bloody years.
With Sesko the instinct should have been I wonder who this Sesko Kid is, and if that doesn't bookmark it somewhere in your mind, nothing will.
These days I can just about follow the Premier League.
6 months ago we were linked with anyone that played for a red bull club because of Rangnick so I just skipped past all of it.
And rightly so as they do seem to have a drop on the very best young players, certainly in Europe any way.
Not sure how though as I doubt it's all down to scouting.
They invest in top coaches of young talent and pay big money for young talent but we only hear about the ones that make it through the system and nothing of the ones who don’t. They also pay agents big fees and accept buyout clauses without this there no way they get Haaland from Molde.
Red Bull Werner hasn’t been a big hit, Upanekano struggled First season at Bayern as did Sabitzer so it isn’t always glory glory red bull.
Well obviously some fall by the wayside, but all the clubs in the Red Bull group are able to sign young players that wouldn't have looked at said clubs twice prior to the money coming in. So something is going on somewhere, and it can't just be obscene wages or they wouldn't be able to move them on, unless they stayed in the group, which obviously most don't.
not wages but transfer fees to other clubs in Europe where money is tight.
They are a talent factory it’s what they’ve built their reputation on come here we will polish those rough edges and help you move the ladder that is their business model. If you are a young player in a small nation in Europe and they come knocking you’d be a fool not to go there.
I don’t know for sure but I get the impression their tactic is get as much talent as possible stick them all in competition with each other and see who comes out on top.
