Miguel Delaney reporting talks are ramping up on this one.

Another left back seems crazy unless Malacia is seriously crocked and not back for a long time.

Bringing in another injury plagued left back seems a bit mad to me, also his best season at Chelsea was playing as a wing back rather than a left back.

Sterling you can see (I can't) where we have Antony, Garnacho, Amad, Rashford, mount

Chilwell you can't when we have two of the most injury prone players at LB. Our current LB options are RB's or CB's.

I mean it's not ideal, but we need someone, maybe it's a loan

Chilwell misses as much football as Shaw, if not more, and i'd be more confident of Sterling contributing from the bench than anybody we have currently, and a big plus is Old Trafford won't faze him as he's played for big clubs before, he's played for City and Chelsea as well ....

Not understanding the reasoning here. Just because we have four wide players, that doesn't mean we just stop buying them, particularly upgrades. If you can better your team you always do it. Let them fight it out.

People need to stop with Mount as an option out wide too, please. It's hurting my head.

21/22 missed 45 games
22/23 missed 20 games
23/24 missed 35 games

That alone should mean you hang up the phone the moment his name gets mentioned by an agent.

Since going his cruciate he's had 3 different hamstring injuries and 3 different knee injuries.

I get why fans want another left back as the two we have can't stay fit but the answer to that surely isn't to buy a 3rd one who also can't stay fit.

Maybe you take him on loan with an option to buy for a bit of extra cover and see how it goes for 12 months but even when he got himself fit at the end of last season he looked a shadow of the player he was.

In 2020/21 when he was playing as a wing back the season Chelsea won the european cup he was very good but since then we've hardly seen him and 3 years is a long time in football.

Literally no point in bringing in another injury plagued left back who won't have played for 6 months.

They must be hoping that in 12 months time Amass might be ready for some first team football.

Yeah. Don't see any benefit. With our luck with injuries we should be staying well away from potential nightmare players.
