Either go sympathy vote and give it to Kroos for his retirement or if it's going on medals/success then Carvajal.

Well, he's been the standout player in football for quite some time now, I think he would be a worthy winner.

I'd choose Vini J.

I think I know what you mean though - I'm not one that follows the winners that much these days.

Are you suggesting it's corrupt in favour of Barca?

It'll be Vinicius or Jude.

Seeing Lookman on the list after his time in the prem feels wild.

In favour of Spainish sides

I thought Jude until his poor, Euro's

He was poor overall and I called for him to be dropped but he did have that defining moment they'll harp on about.

Rodri didn't win the European Cup last season.

I also think his role for Spain was over played a little they actually were better in the final after he went off and that was a real team effort rather than 1 man being the stood out. Different players stepped up at different times.

He's an incredibly important player for City but these awards always find a way of making it to Real Madrid players.

It's probably as open as it's been for a long time but essentially I find this award to be completely ridiculous and football would be better if it was binned.

Rodri won it first premier league player since Ronaldo in 2008 to win it.

Vini 2nd
Bellingham 3rd
