Played like a pro, strong in the tackle, very aware of what was happening around him, showed some great tenacity as well as being strong on the ball, couldn't see a reason not to give him a start.
Maybe got a little lucky with the ball he headed on to his own hand, in Europe where the refs are a lot stricter with the handball rule you could get punished for that.
Other than that another good performance from him probably a good chance in the league to give him some games if the manager feels he's ready as the league games now aren't that important.
You would assume he'll be off for scans today to assess the damage.
Good news that he wasn't rushed straight to hospital that hopefully means it isn't one of the really serious ones like we saw with Shaw or going back Alan Smith.
He’s been a real bright spot for United the last few games. Defends well, has composure and seems to have a real fire to him. Hopefully this injury isn’t too bad and his season isn’t over.
