Firstly and most importantly, such a shame for Young! Who I honestly thought was doing a decent job at full back for us. He's the kind of squad player you need... He fills in, in a number of positions, doesn't moan and doesn't complain when he's left out.
Secondly, is signing a full back really needed? Because it's essentially until we get people back surely? Shaw and Darmian seem to be first choice with Rojo, Young, Blind and Valencia as back ups. We've got bigger issues that need addressing like goals!
Plus I say give the youngsters a chance. I get that they can be inconsistent but that's the way it goes. Put the faith in them and sometimes it'll pay off.

I would say that signing a right back is absolutely necessary. We are threadbare in that area due to injuries.
