Lets not be blaming Arsenal, they were due that bit of fortune. Them 2 points lost against Leeds is the bigger culprit

We need Arsenal to have a wobble if we're going to catch them, as we don't play them again. If Jorginho's shot bounces harmlessly away, they'd have gone winless in 5 straight in all comps, and picked up just 2 out of a possible 12 points in the league. Panic stations and crisis klaxons galore.

So no points dropped this week by those above us. We shall need to content ourselves with progress in the EL and a domestic cup win.
It's good though that Arsenal no longer have the game in hand, makes it a tad easier for us to gauge where we actually are in relation to them. With 42 points to play for you cant rule anything out.

So within a week we have won 1 cup and further progressed in another 2. Unfortunately we haven't managed to make any ground in the league but we are still in contention for 4 trophies all the same

The league is still pretty unlikely but long may the cup runs go and go! Whatever this season brings in the end, ETH has got the good feel factor going again and it’s brilliant to see!

Yes the league is unlikely but Arsenal have a tough run coming up as was highlighted elsewhere so it offers hope.

Top four and the league cup is a great return for this season. If we can better 4th and get another cup, then that'll be fantastic.

Utd also still have some tough games to play along with European and Domestic Cup games whereas I think Arsenal will be 100% focused on 13 league games now they will likely rotate and use their bench for the Europa games. Their next 3 in the league are Bournemouth (h), Fulham (a) and Palace (h) after that it's a 2 week international break.

City and Utd will only play 2 league games in March because of the FA Cup games before the international break so if Arsenal are perfect in the next 3 they'll have an 8 point lead going into April and they'll be 14 clear of us even though we'd have 2 games in hand.

For us to stay in the race even as the major outside shot we've got to win at Anfield on Sunday.
