First save he should be pushing wide rather than back in front (got a bad habit of doing that) but the recovery save was as good as any you will see all season
 
A bit better today as he seems to have learnt to kick long when the situation demands it. I think it's because Maguire isn't at the back trying to play out from the back as directed.

Shouldn’t be letting that in at his near post, gambled on the cross, went to early, attacker saw it and made him look a fool.
 
I think he’s had a pretty good season to be fair to him. Made some good saves today and was obviously our MOTM.
 
He's getting better each week, good game today. One of only a few that can hold their heads high this evening.
 
He was the only player to come out with any credit. Could have been much worse without him

Is he United’s best player of the season so far?
 
Yep seems a lot more settled this season after a shaky start last year.

Between him and Ugarte for our man of the match
 
No complaints about him this season. Still got his doubters but for me he’s a solid force back there.
 
Very good double save, not blaming him for the goal that was down to Lindelof, he’s bobbins
 
I think their goal, you need to give credit to the quality of the cross
 
He actually is showing signs of improvement.

I've never been his biggest fan, but recently he's been quite good. I'll refrain from too much praise until he's doing it consistently.
 
We are 15 games in and he’s hardly put a foot wrong.

Add to that a strong finish to last season I think he’s not really a concern.

Be interesting to see how he adapts to Amorim has played behind a back 3 at inter but I think Amorim will want him to move the ball a little quicker rather than trying to draw in the press.
 
He's been quality this season seems to have dropped out the eraticness.
 
I agree, seems to have found a really good level. Definitely up there for player of the first part of the season
 
United would have lost if it wasn’t for Onana. I reckon he would have saved the goal if not for the deflection.
 
Yep deflection gave him no chance.

Could of top saves and a good all round performance.

Yeah don’t think the Hutchinson shot was causing any problems without the deflection.

Glad Delap didn’t score, seems like a bit of a *insert whatever bad word you want*. Suppose he is from City so no surprise.
 
Amorim on Onana: “He used to do so many long balls. Now he is connecting with the players. And that was very good for me. He understood the idea. He did a great job.”
 
I don't see the long ball being banned if it's on he'll still be expected to play it but Amorim clearly wants the team to shorten up the passing to keep better possession.
 
Big save at the end but also sparred Bruno’s blushes with that tackle after a terrible cross field ball.
