I feel for him because he’s taken the job with an average to bad squad. Ageing players who can’t cut it anymore and no money to bring in players he wants. And by the summer I mean he could be sacked.

The only way they sack him in the summer is if we are relegated.

He knew what he was signing up for he’s got to make the best of the bad situation this year and help the club address the issues in the summer.

Time will tell if it's a shambles, if the wing backs we've signed help to transform the season, then it has been a good window, we are due one after all.
It means that Ratcliffe has to back him even more in the summer.

Only signed one, other guy arrives in July. Any hopes of a good window ended when we didn't sign loan striker which we are crying out for

Dorgu & Heaven signed.
Add Huigall being recalled from Wigan, not sure of the reason behind that.

I mean chucking him straight in for 90 minutes would he stupid.

At this stage I’m surprised if he even makes it on to the pitch without getting injured.

I thought thats what they said they would do.

Collaborate on positions that need filling

Ineos Scout - maybe with managers input

Ineos goes to the manager with options, he chooses.

To a degree that's how it has to work you can't put players into squads that manager don't want.

If it's working well then you shouldn't even be putting players forward that a manager wouldn't want, if you do then the scouts haven't understood the brief of what the manager needs.

Did he bring his own scouts over with him, or are we still relying on the ones who recommended players like Hoijland & Zirkzee?

The scouts are employed by the club not the manager.

INEOS did change the scouts when they took over, they appointed a new head of recruitment Christian Vivell in the summer, he was appointed in an interim position in July 2024. The Zirkzee deal was done before he started.
