Obviously you can never tell for sure as ETH may still like a Garnacho right and Rashford left combo - but I think Amad has shown enough towards the end of last season and pre-season to suggest he’s in the driving seat.Does he lock down the right side? I assume that means dropping Rashford and moving Garnacho across?
Yeah get what you are saying about the Rashford and Shaw partnership but I would be surprised if Amad doesn’t start the first game this season.I see Amad starting the season as a sub (depending on Rashfords fitness) Rashford is a different player down the left when Shaw is in there with him.
Garnacho on the left is also currently a better player than Rashford. I think it is Rashford who has a fight on his hand.Sounds like Garnacho has a fight on his hands. Can only be a good thing.
This is exactly what my son said.Only guy that looks capable of creating anything for us at the moment. I just can’t help feeling that he would be wasted as a wing back long term, I would prefer him in one of those two behind the striker because he’s so good on the ball and links the play so well.
Yep. Along with Mazraoui, Diallo embodies everything the new manager wants. Was he the MOTM?
