He has been absolute dynamite in pre-season and he has definitely locked down that right side when the season starts!

He has so much ability and excited to see him progress in the upcoming season.
 
Does he lock down the right side? I assume that means dropping Rashford and moving Garnacho across?

Obviously you can never tell for sure as ETH may still like a Garnacho right and Rashford left combo - but I think Amad has shown enough towards the end of last season and pre-season to suggest he’s in the driving seat.

It is good to have options though.
 
I see Amad starting the season as a sub (depending on Rashfords fitness) Rashford is a different player down the left when Shaw is in there with him.
 
The injury really set him back last season.

Hopefully he can stay fit and show us his full potential this season.

Garnacho/Amad give us two good options down the right side and they'll need to be pushing each other for that starting spot.

Yeah get what you are saying about the Rashford and Shaw partnership but I would be surprised if Amad doesn’t start the first game this season.
 
With Garnacho joining up with the squad late due to the Copa America he's got a chance of starting the first few games.
 
Bright spark when he came on.

Making a case to have one of those starting spots
 
I think he will start the next game after the break.

Garnacho to me still looks like he’s off it so I’d use him as an impact sub.
 
Yeah I thought he looked bright and inventive when he came on. Wanted to get at the full back and wanted to make things happen. He really shouldn’t have been dropped.
 
Never should have been dropped. Garnacho and Rashford have their merits but neither are as technical as Amad. Obviously easy to say in hindsight but he did more in his sub appearance than any other player who started.
 
Agree Amad has had a better start to the season than Garners or Rashford, should be starting.
Another odd ETH decision.
 
United’s best attacker. He’s an intelligent footballer who can link play and pick a pass. One assist and could have had more.
 
Love that he chases every ball were a few that were 20/80 but he ran hard at the defender and made him panic and force errors.
 
He's being a bit over hyped for me.

Decent little player, but I'm not sure he shoud start. Thought he was wasteful on Saturday and kept turning up in other peoples space right next to them

Great potential though.
 
I like him think he give us something different to the other wingers who look to be more direct and head for goal. Amad looks to making passing combinations in the final third rather than just dribble and shoot every time.
 
Yeah Amad gives us something a little different. He has great technical ability and is able to retain the ball really well. Perhaps lacks a little bit of pace which does set him back a little but I think overall we are a better team with him in it.
