Officially left Juventus and is a free agent.

It wouldn’t a transfer window without a Rabiot thread, so didn’t want to break with tradition!

On a free as a squad filler is probably a no brainer.

Is he still rotten or has he grown up?

Seems to have kept a much lower profile in the last few years.

Could see why Utd might think about it but they’d have to be sensible with any offer.

Except his comment about Yamal needing to turn up and show a lot more in the semi-final.

Rabiot was awful in the Euro's, and his mum kicks off if he isn't picked

Depends what Casemiro we are getting.

He's a much better player on the ball than Amrabat. Much like England not sure we should judge any of the french on their euros performance. You wouldn't be signing Mbappe off the back of that tournament.

Think Rabiot would add a lot to our midfield options, as he's capable of doing everything to a good level. He's a presence, as he's big and still quite mobile for his age; loves a tackle, and is pretty good in possession. He wins most duels and carries the ball well after winning it back. Perfect turnover player.

It's a no brainer signing. He can't really demand the same money as he could, he's getting on a bit. I think this time we hold all the cards, we're clearly back on the rise, and within the next few years our club is going to have the same level of pull as Madrid again.

All it takes is two or three excellent signings [we have one already in Yoro] and other players will start to take a look. If we add Ugarte or another top quality ball hunting DM, our team starts to look like it has a central midfeild again. Ideally a very mobile CDM, being Ugarte. Or a big unit type of DM to compliment Mainoo. Partnerships are everything in football, and finding Mainoo's perfect partner will be the key to dominating play.

I think Rabiot fits the bill to test out with Mainoo.

This to me would be the anti signing of everything the new team are trying to do.

I see this happening a 0%

Say we sell Eriksen for £5m and use that money for a signing on fee to bring in Rabiot on a 2-3 year deal on similar wages to Eriksen is that a bad deal?

I get the personality stuff but if the powers that be have met him and think that's something that can be managed then it has to be on the table.

Is he a better centre midfielder than Eriksen I'd say he is? This summer is about turning over the squad, bringing the overall age down and raising the quality.

By the sound of things the club has to end of July to decide if they want to sign Amrabat on a permanent deal and that's still an option.

I'd say Rabiot would be a Eriksen/McTominay upgrade but really what we need is a top class upgrade on Casemiro and he just isn't that.

Aren't Marseilles his boyhood team?

Really are going for the bad boys XI.
