Any team from Crystal Palace who are 12th could be relegated. The relegation scrap could be more interesting than the title race.

I think any team who even aren’t from Crystal Palace in the bottom eight could get relegated.

You do wonder whether the likes of Moyes and their brand of football are being superceded by the newer breed, eg. Roberto De Zerbi, Thomas Frank, Marco Silva, Michael Carrick, Vincent Company etc and the football their teams play.

I think that is the case now. Obviously Moyes can still do a job as shown last season with West Ham but it’s hard to adapt as a manager when you’ve employed the same methods for so many years.

I think it will be Southampton, Bournemouth to go down and then it really is a toss up as it’s so close down there. Hopefully West Ham go.

Think West Ham had a lot of players who maybe over performed last season who've now gone back to their normal level. The new signings didn't really come off either which is a problem especially with them having European games to contend with.

Even last season they had a problem scoring goals and that problem hasn't gone away.

Why West Ham? I think they are a premier club and deserve to be.

Bubble machines at football. Resembles a nursery more than a football ground.

I don't think West Ham have any right to be a premier league side they're up and down over the last decade and apart from that season where they had Payet I don't really remember them being a good side to watch.

If I had to have my pick I'd go Bournemouth, Wolves and Leeds.

Bournemouth just not setup to be a premier league club
Wolves I'm so sick of watching us play them
Leeds because it would just be funny

I think it'll end up being Southampton, Bournemouth and Forest who do go down. Forest are sinking like a stone and all 3 of those sides struggle to score goals.

Massive win for Leicester and a defeat for Forest and Leeds.

Looks like it’s now 3 teams from 5.

West Ham are 3 clear with 2 extra games than the teams below and a decent goal difference so I think they look safe.

Maguire will be taking a keen interest

Why Leicester fans give him dogs abuse whenever he goes back there and while he isn’t Utd quality he’s good enough to play for a decent mid table side. Can see Villa going for him.

If you ask me he will be playing for one of these teams next season, dependant on who stays up.

I massively doubt it given how much he earns and his age he will want a team that’s playing in some sort of European competition.

Everton are the only team that he might consider and they are broke so no chance he’s going there.

I suspect if utd sold him he will be of interest to pretty much every side in the prem looking for an centre back this summer excluding Arsenal, City, Liverpool and Chelsea. Utd will be looking for 25-30m for him as that is roughly what’s on the books for him.

We shall have to wait and see. I think 25m is the tops United get and I really do think you are being pessimistic in regards to who may express interest in him.

Englands first choice CB must have some value he’s just turned 30 and has been pretty injury free to the right team he’s a very valuable player. Teams that want to sit deep and counter he’s perfect for. I think Villa under Emery is a great fit for him as he’s better than Mings.

Less than 25m is a problem for Utd with the old FFP as we need that to cover what we still owe on him. Not sure there will be much for him abroad.

If he was to leave we’d be spending a lot more than 25m to get a better player than Maguire and that’s part of the conundrum.

:D literally anyone would be better than Maguire. Hummel's is on a free. He might be 34/35 but he gets in above Maguire

Haven’t seen him play in years but by the end of his Bayern career he was making the sort of mistakes that Maguire is now.

If we are buying a centre back in the summer it needs to be another Martínez level signing in his mid 20s to take over from Varane who cannot be relied on.

I was pointing out we could better for less than 25m.

Of course I want a proper CB signing. I posted that days ago

Big win for West Ham. You would think the win has virtually ensured their survival.

Yeah I reckon everyone above Leeds are probably safe now.

Leeds vs Leicester tomorrow night
Southampton vs Bournemouth on Thursday
Bournemouth vs Leeds on Sunday
Leicester vs Everton next Monday.

So quite a few games this week for the teams in the relegation fight facing each other.

I keep hoping Forest go on a run so Everton and Leeds can get sucked down, but it just isn't happening. There have been so many established clubs that have been poorly managed and need to get purged from the league but they keep getting rescued by the newly promoted sides or the yo-yo clubs who are just that bit worse and go down instead.

More sides like Fulham (and Bournemouth to some extent) who can come up and finish mid table would really force the likes of Everton/Leeds/West Ham, Wolves etc to get themselves sorted.

If Southampton were to win tonight that could make things very interesting.

You mean tomorrow night!! feckin looking all over for the score then :p

This midweek round over 3 nights is very hard to keep track of.

Forest plucking a win very few saw coming, Brighton struggling with 2 games a week?

Everton currently beating Brighton 2-0. If they could come out of it with 3 points it would be a truly massive result for them.
