Premier League 2022/23: Arsenal vs Man Utd ~ Sun 22nd Jan 4.30pm

We just had no legs in the end and the pressure eventually told.

We are closer to being up there as title challengers but still much work to do on the squad.

There are no complaints to be had.
We shouldn't have started that game with the donkey and when we did we shouldnt have finished it with the donkey.

That donkey as you so childishly call him(numerous times)put a better shift in than most of our players today, just saying.

Wtf was Fred for Antony, sent the wrong message and lost us the game

Should have been Antony or Weghorst for Garnachio

Fred was the right decision, Shaw needed help against Saka. What was the issue with Fred for not starting?

One upside, our best defender, thanks @SuperRash, still laughing at that, was able to put the finishing touches to his new video "How not to defend at Left-Back" which should hit the shops in the next few days.

Fred for Antony was wrong. We hardly went forward after that, and someone on here said Bruno didn't get back.

We just invited pressure

Quick to criticise Ten Hag, eh. Not surprised. Provide examples of poor subs?

Quick!? It's half way through the season ffs

Not going to justify the middle part of your hasty reply

And if you've watched the last two matches you'd have seen we were all gassed out after 60 minutes, not the Manager's fault obviously, but he's the only one that can change it by using his bench, and he's waited, he's waited, he's waited ....

Yeah half way through the season. If you don't think he's doing a good job and can't see the improvement we've made under him football probably isn't the sport for you.

What!? He's done a great job, but he's not immune to justified criticism is he?

Looking at the bench in the last two games he’s not had much to chose from. Arsenal made subs that didn’t weaken their side any sub ETH could make weakened his XI.

The subs on Wednesday and today I think made some sense but they didn’t help stem the flow.

Last two games not enough of the players have turned up and shown their best to win games at this level you need 9 or 10 of your players to be at their best. Vs palace you maybe need 7 or 8 but in both games that bar hasn’t been reached.

The team looks tired they’ve got a big semi final midweek but I suspect the FA Cup game will see a lot of them rested. That’s 3 really tough games in 8 days, 4 points from 9 is good. Best thing this team can do is take the pain of the defeat in tonight then go back in tomorrow and put it behind them.

Bout right, I was just gonna give 'em scores outta 10 but i'd knock 1 off of each and every one of 'em

The effort was there from everyone for me that gets you a minimum 5 but yeah very few stood out and put some quality alongside the effort. De Gea made a decent save from Nkethia to keep it at 2-2 but he could easily have been a 5 as his kicking was poor.

By contrast apart from White who had a rough game I’d say all the Arsenal players were a 7/10 or above. I’d say Saka, Odegaard and Nketiah were 9/10.

No interest in scoring the Arsenal players, far too flat for that.
