Behave yourself, you do realise that forums aren't a true representation of all Manchester United fans, it's still 50/50 on Ole getting more time in the real World, though admittedly him being a club Ledge works in his favour.

What’s the 50/50 split based on?

Just talking to people daily, there's enough Man Utd fans out there, and it's those longer in the tooth that are most likely to think he deserves more time, whereas the younger pups tend to lean towards making a change. Was expecting that anyway.

I'm sorry but I really shouldn't have to try and explain it, it wouldn't have been against all odds for United who had finished above Liverpool the previous season hanging on if we'd gone 1-0 up unless you're defaulted to only think the worse of the club you say you support.
It's not that we think the worst of the club, it is the evidence of what we've seen this season in the league, CL and LC. It would definitely have been against all odds given that we haven't kept a clean sheet for so long, we are so easy to pass through, have no shape, and have the worst error, tackling and running stats in the league. Oh, and the fact we were playing a team who are so many levels above us, bang in form and have the best player in the world in the form of his life.

I doubt the Stretty was 50/50 on Sunday.

If you don't want to get it, you don't want to get it, not trying to be offensive.

And there's far too many stats these days, and most of them prove nothing.

No doubt a few of the undecided may have moved to the Ole out camp which is understandable when you're getting your backside showed to you by your biggest rival on your own patch.

But the support the team, and Ole got at the end was brilliant.

I’d say after Sunday based on the fans I know plus the tone of social media, here and another forum I visit it’s probably 90% out 10% in.

The fans will cheer him to the end because of who he is but the fans want him out.

I remember standing on the Stretford end as Moyes team was battered by the scousers for the last 20 minutes the support was non stop and deafening think they even scored and it didn’t stop. Not one person in the ground that day wanted Moyes to stay and within a few weeks he was gone.

You visit another forum? Wow I’m hurt!

I wouldn't pay too much attention to social media, and especially forums where there is a childish hounding of anybody that wants to remain positive be it the Manager or certain players, to such an extent that most decide to give up because it's just not worth the hassle, group bullying at it's finest.

And i'm sorry your comment about Moyes after the Liverpool match is laughable, unless you think everybody that attended that day was an idiot, the one great fear during the 'glory years' was how we'd cope when SAF left because as is the norm in that situation(and it happens in most if not all sports)the wheels would come off initially, whoever the Manager was, you could almost predict it.

I'd hazard a guess that at least 75% of those there for the Liverpool game were also at SAF's last match where he gave that rousing speech post-match saying the club and Manager were gonna need the fans support more than ever., do you honestly believe every United fan that attended the Liverpool game thought they knew better than SAF?

Not sure we put up much fight against Everton in 84 in the 5-0 at Goodison Park, it was one of only two games I took a girlfriend, and at the end she said we were lucky it wasn't 10 and I couldn't disagree with her.

That really is a complete piss take and insult not that I am triggered as it just reflects on you. As for the Everton game I was there we were shite but had a go compared to 5 0 at home against Liverpool with the players we have got

Huh, I am a realist, surely it's the ones that expect things to be so much better without a few more bumps in the road that aren't?
Sorry bud you aren't a realist. You're an Ole fan and that's fine but you are not a realist. You can't see the issues that this United have with the biggest being Ole. Being realistic about this team is to say it has gone as far as it can under Ole. He's done a good job, he's put the club in the right direction but he's reached his limit. Because that's what is going on.

Be offended all you want, I really shouldn't have to try and explain it, and if you think if we'd gone ahead on the back of the Atalanta high and the crowd were at fever-pitch it was beyond the realms of possibility that we'd have hung on and won, fine.

If my grandma had wheels she’d be a giraffe.

I'm a Manchester United fan first, Ole just happens to be Manager.

He looks a dead man walking at the minute, but this red won't be cheering when he leaves that for sure, now Mourinho ....

It’s all about succession planning we’ve done it very poorly. Could argue it’s happening again now as it seems they don’t really have an idea where to go after Ole a club should always have a plan B list.

Picking Moyes was a massive mistake he was way out of his depth you could see it within a few weeks of the season starting. Of course fans supported him from the start that is what you do with any manager.

I know what happened that day it was all about not letting the scousers gloat as they pummelled us on our own pitch singing twenty times non stop it was a message to the club that this was not the Utd way and the manager needed to go.

Well Fergie himself has back tracked on the Moyes decision washed his hands of it saying the club picked him.

We can all see what we all feared with Ole he hasn’t got a plan there’s no big idea on how to win and topple the top sides just keep adding more big names and hope it gets better.

That was Scotland-colored lenses Fergie was wearing. Moyes made Everton a solid outfit, nothing flashy, defensively good, had a few stars on a limited budget. There was a slim chance he would have done wonders with a better squad and an expanded budget, but you're right - it was a fecking disaster and a terrible appointment.

I think one of the problems that persisted post-Fergie was our standards have slipped. Ole has done well to bring back the culture of United and what it means to play for the shirt, but results have not been good and a more ruthless club would have sacked Ole by now. Who was the manager sacked by Real Madrid after winning the league but going out early in the CL? That is ruthless. That is demanding excellence.

Ole's coaching staff, primarily McKenna and Carrick, possibly even Phelan, just don't have it. They don't have the tactical knowledge required at this level. They are in their jobs too early.

Timing was also an issue when Fergie went all the big managers had committed to other clubs as Fergie gave almost no notice to the club over his decision to retire it was sudden and no one had planned for it.

Not offended at all I have thick skin as I said your comments reflect on you putting down time served reds. Have a word with yourself

Yeah, think SAF let himself down badly there, was very surprised when he came out and said it.

What's them being a time served red got to do with the price of snuff?

And if they are time served it's even more disturbing they take that stance unless they conveniently gave up their ticket when we won against all odds(and there were plenty of those in the glory years), or the teams that won, oft at Old Trafford, that we should have been humiliating, so maybe it's them not me that needs to have a word with themselves.

And just for the record, I rarely missed a match home or away for decades, and 20 years before most were even born, not yourself obviously because if memory serves you're an old tart like me.

It most certainly wasn't 50/50 mate, from my view atleast.

Probably not, but I doubt it was 90/10 either, and if i'm honest if i'd been there, and there is a difference because you feel everybody else's anger, i'd have been thinking it was time for Ole to go once the 3rd goal went in, but want him to hold his hands up say he felt he'd taken the club as far forward as he thought he could and resign, more that be binned off as the latest failure.

The problem I have with you are your comments to me as below

'unless you're defaulted to only think the worse of the club you say you support.'

Trying to understand your mindset here as just because I have a difference of opinion to you you suggest that I am less of a supporter and actually question my support and that old tart is not on

Anyway its all about opinions I dont think Ole is the man but I hope he proves me wrong and as long as he is in the job has my full support

Come on United

If you were offended by that, and yeah I can see why you would be I apologise, but it's a tough Gig when you are constantly swimming against a tide of negativity and snide comments, as I just said to another poster that they should maybe try walking a day in my shoes.

Not apologising for the old tart though that's just being ubber sensitive, unless you're a woman, if that's the case I do. And if you are and i'd known that obviously I wouldn't have typed that.

Anyho, enjoy the rest of your evening.
