Anyone one of the outfield players could have been subbed. Personally I think it should have been Martinez.

That's not a bad shout. Put him alongside Ugarte, there would be some bite in midfield.

An example of a few of our players who play for themselves rather than the team. Frequently tries to do too much.

We do need better game management from Bruno. He is probably the best player at the club but as captain needs to demand the highest standards of himself and the squad.

This is not on Amorim. The players continually make poor decisions. Garno had an easy pass to Dalot, loses possession and we concede a second.

Yet they are still the best team in Manchester :(

Ugarte has been one of our best players. I dread to think what our midfield would be like without him.

Second yellow for Bruno. Poor pass from Dalot, Bruno scrambling back to win possession.

Dalot is a huge problem. Slows down every move, and his passes often put teammates under pressure, which partly led to Bruno being sent off.

I certainly don't think he works as a midfield partner for Ugarte.

The same set of players struggled with other formations under previous managers.

Unfortunately, he has lost all his pace. Not surprised he was taken off at half time, I doubt we'll see much of him for the rest of the season.

True. So many situations today where should have hit the target but didn't. No intensity, not enough players that want to battle. We have the right manager but the wrong players

It would have been very soft. Bayindir completely misread the flight of the ball and gets caught under it. Left arm was impeded but right arm was free to punch the ball away. Even without the foul he wasn't in the right position to punch it away.

The rule is simple for any of our players, if you do not give 100% on and off the pitch, the manager will find another player who will. Long may it continue.

If he agrees to take a pay cut then it may be valuable to have his character in the dressing room for another year or two, whilst Amorim builds his team.

I was surprised when they hired Maresca, but to be fair, he is doing a great job managing that squad and getting good performances from the team. Would dearly love them to beat the Scousers to the title.

I did not abuse EtH for 12 months, I stuck by him right up until the end when his position became untenable. I never said it was a good performance which is was the reason for the comparison with Nou Camp 99. It was a good performance in relation to our most recent visits where the...

He hasn't. He has not shown enough application in games.

Same as Nou Camp 1999 but I don't think anybody cares. You must be able to enjoy the result.

I've always wanted Amad to get as fair chance, and thought he was criminally underused by EtH.

At the moment we just need players to give consistent decent performances.

I'm clutching at straws, but it was a decent pass to Amad for the first goal, and that was his lot.

He is not being made a scapegoat. We are judging a 27-year old academy graduate on £300k+/week on his own merit. We are all disappointed he has not turned out to be the player he could have been.

He always helps out his RCB when he plays wing back. Sets the example for his counterpart on the other wing.
