Loan Watch (September): Blackburn Rovers fan on Mame Biram Diouf

After impressing early in the season, Diouf has become something of a passenger for Rovers.

Stuck out of position in midfield, he struggles to make an impact. Sam Allardyce appears to have an uncanny knack of finding a good player, and then playing him out of position and he hasn’t disappointed us with Diouf.

He missed a good opportunity from close range against City at Eastlands that could have won us the game. Apart from that, there’s very little to say this month. Fingers crossed, things will start to improve, not just for Diouf, but for Rovers in general!

Sorry it’s brief, but as I say, September wasn’t a great month.

Thank you Dan, hopefully Diouf has a better October.

During the month of September, Diouf made three starts and one sub appearance (263 minutes in total). The Senegalese front man failed to find the back of the net.
