La Liga have been pretty clear to them they have to sell they didn’t back down last summer and it cost the league Messi which could hurt everyone in terms of the TV deal values.
Doubt many clubs in Spain can afford their players wages. Loans are no good to them they need big transfer fees from sales that they can book on the accounts.
Maybe i've read it wrong, but I thought with the players only being paid twice yearly as opposed to monthly(which is key) it was more about getting wages off the books than getting transfer money in. Obvious getting money in(from transfers) helps ....
To be honest when people start talking about Accounting I tend to zone out.
