He's in the Bruno mould but I think overall he's a better team player. I think he would be a better fit for ETH. Though of course Bruno deserves a chance to show he can be.Yeah it would seem like a strange move as he’s very much in the Bruno mould, however he is still an absolute quality player.
See look Bruno version 1 adds goals and assists. But even that Bruno I don't think is a fit for a modern style team.I agree, I think he offers more than Bruno. Unless Bruno version 1 returns.
I don't think he's a player on free we should turn down because we have Bruno, that's for sure.
Please please please stop the idea Erikson is anywhere near as good as Bruno. He's been an Attacking Midfielder in a free role the same as Bruno and produced very little with it.
For reference he's the mirror image of Mata's stats for goals and assist / mins played.
It will be an awful signing and no talking down of Bruno changes that.
It'd be up there with one of the worst signings I've seen us make. He couldn't get in the inter side pre heart condition fcol and Spurs has no issue with letting him go cheaply.
Spurs fans don't want him back that should tell you all you need to know. Stop watching his highlight reels.
As for being a team player he's really not. He's lazy.
He isn't a starting player for any top 8 side.I do agree though for Utd given all of our issues he'd be an odd signing unless VDB is off as he doesn't solve any of our midfield problem in fact he gives the manager a problem as I don't think Eriksen is the kind of guy who sees himself as a squad player.
United are just barely a top 8 side... And he'd be a very good player for West ham, Wolves for sure.He isn't a starting player for any top 8 side.

Might start at Palace. Depends if they keep Gallagher but doubt Vieira would want someone with his physically limitations.
Don’t disagree but Arsenal could do with a player like him in the squad, think he’d probably start for West Ham and maybe Wolves.
For me a 2 year deal where he basically plays the Europa and cup games to keep Bruno fresh makes some sense if VDB was to leave but if he’s staying bringing Eriksen in makes no sense to me.
I don’t mind Eriksen but his best years are certainly in the past and I’m not really sure what problem we are trying to solve by bringing him in.
You clearly don’t rate Eriksen but in my opinion he would be a welcome addition to our squad. At Arsenal he'd be behind Smith-Rowe and Odegaard.
He may start in the current West Ham side I'm not sure though Lanzini is much harder working off the ball and I think they'd rather have Lingard. They want players full of energy and that isn't what Erikson offers. He'd probably take Yarmolenkos place as an impact sub. Reports that they're in for Sarr so they may even move Bowen inside more regularly. Whose an option you'd have ahead of Eriksen everyday of the week.
If United sign him he'd be taking Mata's place as a bench warmer and no more and we should be cutting down on 30 yr olds in that role. We've got youngsters than can have the Europa League games and get experience.
There aren't many transfers I'm so adamantly against but this one I can't stand the idea of.
The way he played at Brentford was better than Bruno last year. Honestly I'm just not sure Bruno is going to fit in his new system. He isn't that kind of structured player but I guess time will tell.He looked great at Brentford. I think he'd come in and push bruno
Well he’s never been a prolific scorer so stats comparing his goal scoring is kind of a moot point. He did have some good seasons goal wise, although I do agree his performances haven’t been amazing since he left Spurs. His time at Inter was disappointing but it’s not the first time a player has failed to shine in a new league. However, on his return to the EPL with Brentford he showed he still has that class. The last time Erikson got in to double figures was the 17/18 season. He may only be 30 but his best years are well behind him.
He's not managed more than 3 since 18/19.
There are numerous players I would take ahead of him to warm our bench and they wouldn't be 30 yr olds who are in decline.
He has the right attitude compared to the charlatans there at the moment. Which is a huge plus

For a free, it’s a no brainer.
If you felt about Bruno as I do, you'd see the point
I'm not sure the relevance here, I'm obvs talking about my opinion. But how you feel about him and how the club feel clearly don't marry up
