Liverpool vs Chelsea this weekend in the cup final goes without saying that we all want Chelsea to win this one... even @IDFD can surely support Chelsea in this one.

Liverpool have lost Fabinho for the rest of the season to injury and for Chelsea looks like Kovacic will be out after that tackle from Dan James the other night.

Liverpool do seem to be feeling the strain of all these games and Chelsea have been poor since they went out of the champions league all the off field stuff probably taking it's toll on players. Both teams are teams that you expect to show up in finals though they seem to have that built in to them they aren't known for bottling big games.

3 games between them this season all ended in draws with Liverpool taking the league cup on penalties so they are well matched sides.

Not interested, wouldn't be if united was in it.
Interested enough to comment in this thread! :p

I can see Chelsea winning it to be honest. Yes they’ve been a bit patchy with their form but they can really turn it on when they want to.

Also you cannot underestimate the pressure of chasing multiple trophies. Hope Liverpool crumble in all competitions and are just left with the Carabao.

Hard to see past a Liverpool win to be honest just got to many goal threats in the team to go against them.

:D slow work day

Definitely not my friend. Liverpool will get it on the final day.
You think City will slip up at home against Villa? I definitely don’t!

Plus Liverpool have to beat Southampton tomorrow night as well - which they probably will but the pressure is huge.

City didn't finish Real when everything was in there hands. They also didn't finish West Ham. Liverpool have god favour this season. We will see but there is no garanty despite being favorite.

they came back from 2-0 down, if it wasn't for a penalty miss they would have won. I think that shows they have the mental strength

The pressure will be on city. So yes I think they can absolutely slip up.

City have needed to win on the final day to win 3 of their titles in the last decade and every time they've done it.

They might bottle things in Europe but domestically they always get the job done.

There's no reason to think they won't stick 4 or 5 past Villa on the final day.

How can you say definitely not to City getting the title. You're 100% sure that City fail to beat Villa AND Liverpool win both their games?

I really can't see City throwing the title away, even with their defensive injuries. I can't see Villa outscoring them, last game of the season at the Etihad.
