Yeah just love the way the Everton player is gone chasing him just nothing left in the tank and our lad is still going full tilt.

Impressive that late in the game to still have that in the locker

Has a penchant for the spectacular!

Feel for the Everton lad, was absolutely done by the time he got to the penalty box but Garnacho was still going like the clappers!

He’s one of a clutch of really promising young guys in the academy. He just has to continue his progress because he has great pace and technical ability. He’s also deceptively strong despite his small frame.

Yeah I try not to get to hyped on the academy lads the jump up is so big and the environment they come into is so rotten at the moment.

These lot need a couple of solid pro's in their prime to carry them through when they do get a chance. People bang on about the class of 92 but when those lads broke through we still had Schmeichel, Bruce, Pallister, Irwin, Keane and Cantona in the side to help them through the tough days.

It's funny because he'd made a similar run a few minutes earlier and the commentator(Stewart Gardner) was saying it was impressive so late in the game but he didn't really need to be doing that as the game was already won, then he produced that, stunning.

If you'd not seen the match you would have thought he must have come on as a sub and he was up against tiring defenders.

Yeah I must admit first time I saw the goal I thought surely he's come on with fresh legs to do that to another player.

I wouldn't be surprised if he was drug tested after that, it was freaky, I've never seen anything like it in a youth game.

It looked to me like about 30 yards out the Everton players muscle went so he couldn't sprint anymore he's either cramped up or felt a pull.

If he is on the drugs then he needs to start sharing some of the special stuff with his team mates.

I think the clubs got enough problems without half the youth team injecting themselves with Arsene Wenger's monkey glands.

Looks like Argentina are trying to nail him down before Spain get in there. Obviously it’s a 33 man squad so unlikely he will play but just to get the call up and train with some quality players will be good for him.

He has really come on leaps and bounds of late and is a really exciting prospect.

He will need to play for them to lock him in.

Crazy that a kid who I dont think has seen our bench yet has made such a prestigious national squad.

Think we might see some of him in the first team before the end of the season as looks like we will have some dead rubber games near the end.

I know top 4 is still possible but I think in the next few weeks that'll probably be all over so yeah time to roll out some of the younger players at that point.

True but just the fact that he has been called up may make him sway towards Argentina.

Hopefully we see him before the season is out but not sure to be honest. Top four could still go right to the wire if Arsenal have a bit of a blip. Would be good to see a few younger guys get some chances before the season is out thought. Garnacho, Mejbri, Fernandez to name a few.

I think he will know what his preference is the best decision for his career is probably Spain a lot less travelling for international games but if he feels more Argentinian then that is what he should do.

There’s the youth cup final I think once that is done if there’s no top 4 battle we may see a few of them get some experience in the last few games.

Wouldn't do Garnacho and the likes of McNeil, Hansen-Aaroen, Mainoo and Gore any harm to get minutes in the first-team before the Final, even if it's only a brief cameo here and there, it would be invaluable experience or them.

Sounds like somebody wants a new contract.

You would assume talks are on the horizon anyway given how highly rated he is the club won't want to lose him.

Very cynical.

It's not the lad, or his agent fault that some nobody has said Juventus are interested in him just for giggles.

No smoke without fire in most of these things agents get a story put out their to try and put pressure on certain situations.

I fully expect he'll be offered a new deal once he turns 18 as I think the current rules state players under 18 can only sign 3 year deals which is where we were caught out on the Pogba deal.

You wonder what will happen with this kid next season he obviously made a huge splash in the youth cup run will that get him the chance in some of the europa group games

He will get a new deal when he turns 18 but he's still got 2 years on his current deal so Juventus, or any club for that matter can sniff all they want, the kid is going nowhere.

Even if we bring Antony in to play on the right, and I think we will, i'd expect Garnacho, Pellistri and Amad all to get plenty of chances in pre-season to challenge Antony, Sancho and Elanga for the two wide attacking roles, then it's over to them.

Whatever happens don't see the club trying to get Garnacho out on loan next season, the two that have already been on loan may, but if they do we'll probably lose one of them, possibly both which would be a shame before they've had a proper chance to see if they're good enough.

Yeah feels a bit early for a loan with Garnacho he's still a kid.

Think all 3 will be around the club for the first half of next season playing for the U23's and also getting a few chances in cup/europa games to see how they do as there's now space in the squad and it's unlikely we'll see more than 1 attacker come in as a new signing.

Think we might see some of the guys who were playing U23 stuff last season go out on loan if the right deals are there players like Hanibal or Shoretire who maybe need that first team experience might go out on loan somewhere.

Doubt Hannibal or Shoretire will go on loan, not before January anyway, and they've tampered again, it's back to u21 for next season!

Got a sneaky feeling Amad might be offered on a two-year loan to Ajax as part of any deal to bring Antony to Old Trafford.

What is in that for Ajax though? Their business model is to buy, develop and sell for profit bringing him over on loan doesn't make much sense Utd might even offer him up as part of the deal with some sort of release fee agreed should he kick on.

For that to happen Ajax need to be interested in him the way they work they've probably already got the Antony replacement lined up in case he moves.

Erm they get a player that in the right environment with the right coaching might actually be a better player than the player he is replacing on subsidised wages and with no loan fee to pay, then it's up to Ajax to make the lad feel that welcome(they will)that he will want to continue his career there and I doubt United would stand in his way unless he develops into the new Messi/Robben and would happily sell him after the two year loan(sooner if both parties are happy) as long as we recoup our initial outlay to Atalanta for him.

Then it would be business as usual for Ajax, they'd hope to develop him more then move him on at a latter date for a huge profit.

Gotta start on the left against Brighton, with Sancho on the right. Ronaldo, Rashford and Martial to fight it out to start up top.

He's one of those players who you just expect things to happen when he gets the ball. He's bright and lively and full of confidence.
