How long do we give Solskjaer?

I think you've been a bit generous with some of those results with this team.

You've got to question what this board is doing keeping Ole on after this seasons start and that Liverpool game. We all know this team is not going to compete for anything under this management.
To compound this, looking at the CL, you can't really look beyond Liverpool, City or Chelsea for that. While we struggle through what should be an easy group.

The more I think about this, the more I get annoyed with this inept board and the terrible ownership of our club.

Unbelievable.

Sounds like we want Poch and that will be end of season.

So this could be another waste of a few months for united fans.

yeah, I think it was MEN. It's the second article i've read on it.

No real facts, but it does make sense to me, he would be who our stupid board would like. And he isn't going to leave mid season.

Dortmund been down to 10 most the game though.

He's my second option though.

However I'm gonna use this post to abuse PSG. We used to have a cu*t thread on an old forum. They'd be firmly in it. Cost me a 400/1 Acca.

Conceded in the 92nd minute and I wasn't paying attention because I'm playing poker again and last I looked Ajax wern't winning.
Ajax did me mate, had it as draw.

I'm guessing but 10 mor league games probably takes us to mid/end of January.

If the club get through in the CL and are still within 7 points of a top 4 spot Ole won't be going anywhere until the summer.

If he goes out of the CL in the group stage again and Utd start falling away from the top 4 there's a chance he goes that CL money is vital to the club and as we've seen with every manager post Fergie the moment that top 4 is out looking out of reach you get the bullet.

For him to go mid season he'll need to lose the players and also the fans in the same way Mourinho did while the fans might want Ole out they are unlikely to turn on him personally in the way we started to see with Jose and you can see the players are still playing for him.

Was it put to a vote or are you self-appointed spokesperson for all United fans? Have you forgot the Europa League final already?

There are far easy groups, there's not many that feature a team who won a European trophy last year, and include the best run club in Italy.

C'mon, we were all chuffed with this group, and expected to qualify easily with the squad we have. This is not arrogance but a realistic expectation. The reality has been very different as we all know. You can build up the group all you want but you can't get away from the fact that it is one of the easiest in the CL this year.

Well I have been up and down on this one and after the Liverpool game was Ole out but letting the dust settle and giving my head a wobble we need to stick by him and give him time but he / the club need top get some of this toxic **** out of the club starting with Pogba.

Why more time? If Ole was going to show any tactical acumen, it would've happened by now.

Doesn't matter who comes and goes if the coaching team struggle with the basics.

If it wasn't for individual brilliance by ronaldo getting 2 late goals in 2 games we'd be bottom of this group.
We must not let the results cover up the diabolical football we have been playing.

I think it's both to be honest the players with the right attitude deserve better coaching you are at Man Utd you should be working with the best in the business and the ones who don't want to put in the work need to be moved on.

We all know there's a long old list of players who need to be shipped out but there seems to be a reluctance somewhere in the club to allow players to leave the club instead they have been hoarding players for years.

Every now and again one pops up you'd totally forgotten about must be a few lads getting changed in the car park for training as there's not enough space in the dressing room to get ready.

There's that 'we all again', and United historically don't do qualifying easily in the group phase, whoever the Manager is, the squad he's got, or however weak on paper the opponents look.

Don't agree, of the English clubs only Liverpool have got a tougher group.

Surely has to go after this. It is only going to get worse
There is no shame losing to City. They are a wonderful team with so much quality - but the way we are just standing back and letting them do what they want is shocking. Laughable performance.

My concern is that Ole continuing will restrict the development of the younger players like Greenwood, Sancho, and Rashford.

Sorry, must have been just me then. I also don't subscribe to 'doing it the United Way', 'we always make it difficult for ourselves', I don't see a problem with controlling and winning games easily.

Yeah let's ignore History, let's live in a dream world where all United have to do is turn up, and the name will do the rest.

I'm not ignoring history, I just think it is far too readily used as a convenient excuse to cover poor performances.

At this point I think it is more a question of when Ole goes rather than if he goes. I think we need to be replacing him but I think I would rather see us limp along until we can get the right person than go and get the first available wrong person.

He won't be sacked this week. That much is obvious.

Woodward doesn't want to get in to a hiring and firing dispute. With 6 weeks left in the job.

Have you not heard the good news, he's staying on till the Summer.

Yeah let's forget how SAF, one of the greatest Managers of all time, with a far superior squad often struggled in the group phase and just expect United with Ole who apparently is a crap Manager, Managing a piss poor unbalanced squad to do better because we are Manchester United.
