Two fight deal in place for 2021 dates and venues still to be announced.

Both fighters have defences of titles for this year both only expect to fight once in 2021 so after that a fight can happen to create an undisputed champion in the heavyweight division.

Big boost for boxing hopefully they fight in Britain under the roof in Cardiff would be epic.

I still say there's 95% chance this fight never actually happens. Yesterday I was 99% sure so this latest has changed that slightly I guess.

But AJ would be foolish to take this fight until Fury is way past it. Fury will absolutely destroy him.

If AJ dodges him he’ll be accused of being afraid and to his credit AJ hasn’t been a guy trying to protect his record for financial gain.

Fury is adamant he wants to retire by the end of next year if he won the first fight with a dominant performance I could see him retiring straight after. Go out on top and leave the belts for everyone to scrap over.

Frank Warren has said the fight isn’t agreed and that Joshua announced it to downplay his bad publicity. 2 fights should happen but no agreements in place.

The play for AJ is to appear like he's pushing for the fight but to keep having hurdles to jump. Fury wants to retire so eventually he will and AJ will use that as an excuse.

I think it'll happen to much money to be lost if it doesn't everyone at the table knows that now they've got Wilder out the way that makes it easier so as long as Fury doesn't lose the rematch it's happening.

I think Fury will retire after a Joshua fight but he'll be one of these boxers who goes in and out of retirement I think as he will miss the sport.

Hmm I'm not so sure about that. I mean perhaps AJ will wait until the last minute when he thinks Fury is right at the end? Otherwise I just don't see this as a contest.

I'm not convinced AJ wants a long career either so if the money is there my guess is he'll take it and possibly look to do something else with his life.

Dyllian Whyte might throw a spanner in the works in terms of unification he's the mandatory challenger for Fury's belt and has been for over 1000 days he's taking legal proceedings against the governing body so Fury could actually be stripped of his title after the Wilder fight if he doesn't give Whyte a shot.

Think more likely that they'll tell Whyte is he gets to take on the winner of the Fury/Joshua fight but that probably means waiting until 2022 for his title shot.

And this is why boxing is so infuriating. We want to see the top guys fight each other. Whyte really isn't one of those guys we want to see. He's an average fighter in a heavyweight division that overall really is not that good.

He's still earned his shot and Wilder was allowed to dodge him for 3 years probably because he wasn't 100% sure of how he'd get on he just wanted to keep building his profile as unbeaten reputation in the states. Wilder was fighting at least twice a year while holding the belt how can he keep dodging the mandatory challenger.

That's the problem you have promoters with one agenda which is putting on the biggest shows that make the most money and you have rival governing bodies who all have titles on offer but they don't really have power to force you to fight someone. They can strip you of the title but that's not always an easy thing to do as it looks bad on them.

You can say it's not that good but that's a pretty hard thing to judge it's a lot stronger than it was 10 years ago for example but we always have a thing of glorifying history.

Oh I agree with you completely. I mean look how long Mayweather and Pacquiao were able to avoid each other.

Those two were always floating around different weights though they weren't really looking to hold titles they just wanted the biggest prize fights.

Bit different with the heavy's they're in the top bracket there's no moving up weight for them so it's important that they honour the rankings in some way.

Looks like this fight will be in the middle east which is a joke if it happens and it's created a lot of controversy in Ireland due to the involvement of a major crime figure in the deal.

With what AJ’s said I don’t think he can fight out in the Middle East again. He can’t justify fighting in a country that openly oppresses its people after coming out fighting about the oppression black people face here.

Fury will want the fight in Vegas. Only way it it shouldn’t happen there should be if it’s at Wembley.

The fact AJ has done it once suggests to me he won't be afraid to do it again he took the money out their to fight Ruiz so why wouldn't he take it again these venues over them so much money to go and fight way more than they get in the UK.

Cardiff under the roof might be a better option than Wembley as they'll probably be trying to get the fight early next year so they can get both fights done in 2021.

That new NFL stadium in Vegas is apparently also an option I hope they don't do it in Vegas I don't want to get up at 5am to watch it.

For me it's a unification fight between two Brits so it should be happening in Britain but we all know money talks.

Yeah he done it before. But now his name is associated with that speech and if he does it he'll get absolutely destroyed. The speech itself was almost career suicide and to follow it up by fighting in Saudi Arabia would just be giving everyone the ammunition they want to go after him. You cannot associate yourself with as any kind of freedom fighter and then fight in the Middle East. Just imagine it.

The fight shouldn't be anywhere but Britain.

I think he was pretty outspoken on things before his first fight in Saudi but yeah he's doubled down on that position with his recent speeches in relation to the black lives matter movements. I still think he'll go where the most money is and if that's the middle east they'll find a way to put some PR spin on it to legitimise it.

I know they claimed that one of the reasons they went to Saudi was Ruiz didn't want to fight in the UK and AJ didn't want to fight in America but that all felt a little bit to convenient.

If he is retiring sooner rather than later, why not have a couple of easier fights to top up his pension. Then, Wilder in December, beats him, then Whyte. After seeing Whyte struggling against a Chisora (& who Fury took apart) a ready made opponent. Joshua in his last fight before retiring. Which way that goes 1xbet - toss a coin (& even protectionist Hearn won’t want to miss out on that money spinner)

Don’t think Fury is worried about the money he’s got more than enough to retire on and if he retires as the champ he can always do the Mayweather and come out of retirement every year to take on the latest upstart.

Strikes me as a man of his word though when it’s over it’s over I think he might try to become a trainer as he looks like a man who needs to be busy to keep his demons resting.

For Joshua if he comes out on top it’s probably guys like Usyk and Dubois who will be coming for him. Whyte maybe missed his chance with that loss but being in the Hearn camp he might get a shot.

If Joshua doesn’t come out on top and Fury retires where does he go as he will never be seen as the champ again even if he carries on and wins all his belts back.

This man beats all , Joshua is very robotic him and joe Joyce are the 2 stiffest heavyweights out there.

I wonder if now that it looks like we are opening it up if they'll be happy to have the fight here.

Get it done. One at Old Trafford one at Wembley.

Cant see both being over here, my guess would be Saudi for the 1st and Wembley for the second, by then hopefully we could have a Wembley sell out.

Anyway, buzzing the fight has been made, Tyson will rightly be the bookies slight favourite, but its the one we've all been waiting for.

Hopefully it's not in Vegas it should be in Britain be a great one for the big stadiums like Wembley or even Cardiff under the roof.
