Was very surprised he took this job but he could work very well as he will have lots of loan players to gel quickly and he did that well at Hull.

Next top 6 manager in my opinion. I really rate him. Doing an amazing job at a squad that was a mess last season. Bringing so many different nationalities all together. And that Richarlison is a fantastic find by the way!

I agree there Max. He even made Hull look like a half decent outfit at times and that was tough! He did well in Greece also.

To be 4th at this stage is pretty good and that’s after already playing City, Arsenal and Liverpool. Obviously it’ll be hard for them to sustain it but they’ve made a great start. Richarlison definitely looks like a great find from the Brazilian leagues.

Not sure he will get the very top jobs unless he wins something but could easily see him replacing Koeman at Everton if he went.

Very impressive so far though.

Excellent manager, was clear pretty early on at Hull, just lacked the players there and wasn't really able to bring any in, also lost 2 of his better players in Livermore and Snodgrass. At Watford, he's got money and has found a couple of gems.

He's not finding the players though it's all done through the Pozzo family vast scouting network but the credit he deserves is for gelling them together.

Watford have blamed Everton for the sacking, saying that an unwanted approach for him led to his loss of focus on the Watford team and results have deteriorated since.

Think it killed their early season momentum as the players lost faith in the manager who’s head was clearly turned when that happens at a club like Watford it’s curtains because everyone there is seeing it as a stepping stone to the big time that’s the model they’ve gone for.

Think he’s a talented manager but discipline has been a serious problem 5 or 6 red cards this season and injuries on top of that as well.

Just appointed their new boss, clearly the owners have been in contact with the new manager while Silva was in charge. Can’t really expect anything less from the Pozzo family really.

Silva tried to force his move to Everton no surprise they’ve done him dirty for me it’s good management never sack a manager without his replacement lined up. Apart from in extreme cases you wouldn’t do it in business so why do it in football.
