The Mail online are reporting Steve Bruce is interested in a a permanent or loan move for Danny Welbeck.

    Thoughts?

Permanent move would probably be the best for him, i'd like to see him go out on loan first though.

It's a massive shame he got injured while on loan last season, he started off well with Preston and looked as though he was going to impress with young Matty James. I'd like for him to go back to Preston.

Really surprised by this, they must see something really special in him or Darren Bent and Kenwyne Jones are leaving. Would be brilliant if those 2 did leave, i'd love to see Frazier Campbell given more opportunities upfront and Welbeck needs Prem experience.

He'll have Premier League expirience, Will play at a good team, and certainly he'll have opportunities, with Jones' departure.

Hopefully it doesn't turn out like Manucho and Rossi's North East loans.

S'land fans won't be happy with selling Jones and not bringing in a permanent striker. Should be interesting to see if they bring in another striker, I can honestly see Welbeck playing more on the wing with Frazier Campbell on the other.
