Assuming this is true I wonder what they offered.

With bonuses we've paid something like £50m so far for this kid so can't imagine spurs offered anything like that.

I think Utd could be tempted to sell but only at a silly price
 
We're understocked in attack already, I can't see how we can let him go, if we were going to let him go, we'd have accepted Inter's offer to take him on loan as part of the Perisic deal rather than sell him to a direct rival. Would be madness if we let him go to Spurs for any sort of money.
 
If they fancied a loan bid I'd let him go. He's second choice needs minutes and could help them damage our rivals.
