John Toshack is set to quit as Wales manager, BBC Sport understands.

The 61-year-old is thought to feel he has taken the side as far as he can after the 1-0 loss in Montenegro to open the 2012 Euro qualifying campaign.

He may leave before next month's games against Bulgaria and Switzerland, but would be happy to stay if needed.
Brian Flynn to replace him in my eyes. Taken the U21s to the top of their Qual group above Italy and he's brought through nearly all the young players that now play in the main team. He knows the players, has to be him.

Nah, he's just be linked. I can only see Giggs being involved on part time basis, as an assistant to someone older like Brian Flynn of whom he can learn a few things from. And then when Giggs retires he'll take over.
