Apart from it being over? I will try and roll out a few but it isn’t easy.

Lindelof - had a tough start to his United career but he’s been much improved this season.

Shaw - not amazing but I think he’s had a steady season.

McTominay - played beyond his years against PSG and Barcelona and has impressed on other occasions. Also half the time looked the only player who gave a damn.

The PSG win - the most excited and emotional about a United I’ve been for many a year. Terrific night.

Liverpool not winning the title? Gosh this is tough.

The fact the season is over is the biggest positive.

Shaw Lindelof Mctominay Rashford are the only others.

The fact it finished and actually we didn't finish in the bottom half? That's about all I've got.

Best moments for me was Oles first couple of matches, feeling excited about the passion the players were showing (short lived as we know) & the PSG match.
Other than that...

No (maybe PSG), the team seem to play with a lack of intelligence, confidence and fitness.

I'd agree with Lindelof and McTominay. Shaw - poor decision making at both ends of the pitch, not the quality required of a full back.

I just don't see how we can take any real positives from this season. We finished 6th, we finished with an awful record towards the end and I don't think any player really comes out with any credit from this disastrous season.

The only positive is it is over.

The club is in a far weaker position now than it was 12 months ago both on and off the pitch.

Entire squad rebuild required and zero faith in those calling the shots the concern is this might not be the bottom the club is in an absolute death spiral at the moment.

I am hoping out of this season the board has finally realised their errors of the past in the transfer market and they will now back the management team.

I think that's part of the problem early on they blindly backed managers Moyes/LVG were basically given whatever they wanted but there was no coherent plan to it all. One minute is galactico's the next it's project youth.

The board need to set the vision of how the football team gets back to the top in the next 5 years and appoint people to the board to manage that process then appoint managers who fit that and then support them with players who fit into the plan. To me the problem remains the board want Utd to be the best but they have no idea how to make it happen they'll blindly hop from manager to manager hoping he's the new Fergie but he won't be.

No one at Utd has any idea how Fergie was successful because he's not been able to pass that on to anyone it was his own genius that made it all work we need to forget that and start looking at how other clubs do it now.

Rashford ? not been anywhere near good enough if you ask me, I know he is young but there are other players in the prem his age who are performing better, If he was called Santiago Munez and was spanish he would be getting slated.

For me personally I think the fact I have no emotional attachment to any of the players and everyone normally has their favourites, shows that Im not massively fond of any of these players, and that is the truth !

I always loved Pogba when he was here the first time and was buzzing when he came back, but the reality is that we arent going to progress with him, on his day brilliant, but wants to be in a serial winning side right now, and we arent, were shite.

Sell him and move on, so to answer the question i think it would be embarrassing even attempting to pluck any positives from this season.

Which 21 year old striker has out performed Rashford this season?

Sane got 16 in 44 games in a team that scores a bucket load and he's 2 years older, Jesus 42 games 19 goals he's 1 year older.

In all comps 13 goals in 47 appearences isn't good enough to keep you in a top side but for a 21 year old striker in a team that's struggled isn't bad going but it needs to start improving if he wants to hold his spot.

For me Rashford has been a minor positive he was brilliant when he finally got into the team as centre forward ahead of Lukaku under Jose and up until that game vs Liverpool where he got injured after 1 minute and soldiered on he hasn't been the same. I think when others have chucked it in and cried off he's played through the pain barrier.

The fury he gets from some fans baffles me he shouldn't be getting the flack because he's the first choice the guy who cost £75m and is on £250k a week should be getting it because Rashford has had to do his job for him this season.

It is time for him to kick on he might have the chance to be the number 1 striker next season if Lukaku was to leave he needs to take that chance and show that he can be a 25-30 goal a season striker.

I read Rashford form dropped because his attitude changed and he has become a bit of a big time charlie and wants huge wages.

I wasnt being striker specific, I was generally meaning that there is a group of players around Rashfords age who are performing better than him, maybe Im being super critical as the lot of them have pissed me off all season.

For me Rashford should be developing and improving now, and if anyone wants to argue against me then fair enough, but Rashford broke onto the scene and made huge steps and then suddenly has hit a wall and hasn't progressed atall, similar to Martial - scores that goal against liverpool and then has done cock all since then apart from some very sparse patches.

Since Fergie left I have wanted Ole to have the job.

But I do wonder if this is just too big for him, I hope he can do it. But Pogba will go, De Gea probably, 6th in the league, no CL. and to be honest a bit of a joke. Recruitment will be hard.

I think we are years and years away from getting close to a league title. And probably a few managers away too.

I just want the glazers out and get someone in who's only goal is success on the pitch. For all the teams. But it's not going to happen.

I think it’s hard for players to develop when surrounded by chaotic structure and lack of senior pros to learn from.

He’s had 3 managers in 3 1/2 years he’s had 12 months to learn from Zlatan but for the rest I think he’s not had proper guidance.

I think the young players need senior guys to guide them through at times listen to all our young players who came through they all tell you senior guys were vital they set the standards and make sure if you drop below that you get called out.

That institutional knowledge that was passed down from the 94 double team to the 99 treble team who passed it to the 07-09 team has all been lost and I think it’s hurting the talent that does come through.

However, other factors are now interfering such as money being a distraction and mediocrity being tolerated and even accepted. High standards/targets have to be set and anything short of that considered failure and failure brings with it punishment.

Just been reading that united perfomances fell away because of fitness. Ole couldn't believe how unfit they were for an elite team, and Jose hadn't used the sports science dept. who were practically unemployed.

If he couldn't understand how unfit they were then why didn't he rotate the team at all in his first few weeks in charge? He burned them out and paid the price it's harsh but it was predictable there was almost no rotation over the busy Xmas period at Utd.

It was a problem all season pre season was a joke players either came back late or injured from the world cup and the team suffered for it all season. You wonder if Mourinho's assistant leaving also had an impact because he is a known fitness specialist.

It is a standard new manager thing always criticise the fitness level of the players so lets see if he can put it right and get these boys in tip top shape next summer as it was very obvious in games that after about 30 minutes our legs went and teams would over run us.

Sorry but I'm not buying the fitness thing. I look at the situation and for me it's no coincidence that after Ole signed as permanent manager the results and performances fell off a cliff.
