What a ridiculous amount of money to pay. Don't get me wrong he's a good player and a player I'd have happily had here... But not for that kind of money! Mane would have been a good squad / impact / alternative for us but I doubt many would have been screaming for him to be first team every week?
Wonder if Liverpool have a Southampton FC loyalty card? They shop there so much, they must be eligible by now! Crazy money but hell Liverpool spent a combined £67m on Benteke and Carroll, so we know they are not averse to splashing cash on mediocrity.
21 goals and 9 assists in 54 (13) appearances at Southampton. He'll do well at Liverpool under Klopp. The transfer fee is fairly standard in the current transfer market. Only recently turned 24 as well.
He's a good player I have no doubt about that but he's not worth that much. He will do well under Klopp but not that well. But that's just my opinion.
Yep! Looks good one week and the next you wonder where he is. He's inconsistent but that's standard for a flair player who's not one of the best around. He will do things that wow you but he'll do a lot that make you think twice about him.

I didn't expect him to be as good as he has been was always a bit hot and cold at Southampton and assumed he'd be that way at Liverpool but the bigger stage seems to have helped get the best from him every week.
