Rooney off to the states!

    Just seen breaking news on SkySports.com that United are sending Rooney of to Nikes headquarters in the USA for a weeks rehab and fitness training.This means he isn't going to be fit for the derby.

    A strange development - it makes no sense why we'd send him there.

    It's to get him away from the spotlight and to get rid of speculation of whether he'll play. The talk of whether he'll play is already gone, all focus is now on the team and the game, not him.

    I don't think many would mind. I'd like him to stay there until he's 100% fit.

    I'd hav loved Rooney to be fit for the derby though, no better game to find your form! lol, but then with Chicharito doing so well i don't think we'll really miss Roo that much

    No Rooey is no problem anymore.we're over the fact that we were dependent on him for goals.not anymore
