After months of it looking nailed on for the bottom 3 teams to go ladies and gentelman we now have a relegation battle.

Sadly Sheff Utd and West Brom do look to far gone to mount a come back but Fulham's form have dragged a few clubs in as we enter the home straight for the season.

All club played 25 games and only 6 points seperate 4 teams.

15th Burnley 28 points
16th Brighton 25 points
17th Newcastle 24 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 22 points
19th West Brom 14 points
20th Sheff Utd 11 points

Brighton threw away a point last night at home to rivals Palace in the last minute they battered them all game but somehow lost 2-1 and with no real goal scorer in the team you do worry for them they play some great stuff but they are crying out for someone to put away the chances.

Brighton had 25 shots compared to Palace 3 and for the Xg nerds amongst us 1.9-0.3 of their 25 shots at goal 20 were within the 18 yard box.

Fulham seem to have found a bit of form

Sheff and Brom seem to be gone, you're right, they just can't seem to be able to get the results. Newcastle are getting better.

Brighton vs Fulham?

Not sure how long Wilson is out for Newcastle he's a vital goal scorer for them and they have the worst goal difference of the teams in that little battle.

Fulham certainly have bounced into life they were awful in that first month but Parker seems to have got them going a bit now but goals will be the issue for them Mitrovic bangs them in when they're in the Championship but he's not that great in the prem can that new lad Maja be the spark they need.

WBA and SHU are done.

Fulham are actually improving week on week and I think their momentum may just keep them up. I think it’ll be between them and Newcastle. Brighton play some really good stuff and will ultimately have enough - they just lack a clinical striker. Burnley will find a way.

WBA got away with one there

Brighton missed two pens.

They had a goal disallowed, then allowed, then disallowed again o_O

West Broms last 5 home wins are with 5 different managers o_O

Newcastle without Almiron and Saint-Maximin until April, as well as Wilson who won’t be back until then I think or maybe even longer. They have got a long road ahead of them. Not sure where their creativity now comes from.

Massive game for them at the weekend away to WBA.

After 26 games

15th Burnley 28 points
16th Brighton 26 points
17th Newcastle 26 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 23 points
19th West Brom 17 points
20th Sheff Utd 11 points

International break coming up in a few weeks not everyone plays 3 games.

West Brom's Everton (h), Newcastle (h), Palace (a)
Newcastle WBA (a), Villa (h)
Fulham Spurs (h), Liverpool (a), City (a)

West Brom could really pull themselves back into it over the next 2 weeks.

29 games

14th Southampton 33 points
15th Burnley 33 points
16th Brighton 29 points (1 game in hand)
17th Newcastle 28 points (1 game in hand)
---------------------------
18th Fulham 26 points
19th West Brom 18 points
20th Sheff Utd 14 points

Bottom 2 are goners but Fulham just holding on to the others Burnley and Southampton probably safe but still a little bit of work to be done.

29 games

14th Southampton 33 points
15th Burnley 33 points
16th Brighton 32 points
17th Newcastle 28 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 26 points (played 30 games)
19th West Brom 18 points
20th Sheff Utd 14 points

Brighton won the big battle beating Newcastle to open up a bigger gap Fulham will be gutted let in a late winner for Leeds that lost them a point.

Newcastle look like they are going to eventually fall into the bottom 3 Ashley has backed Bruce today despite growing pressure from fans who want him gone. They are a terrible side to watch.

30 games

15th Burnley 33 points
16th Brighton 32 points
17th Newcastle 29 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 26 points (played 31 games)
19th West Brom 21 points
20th Sheff Utd 14 points

Big point for Newcastle at the weekend Fulham seem to have lost momentum can they get it back.

31 games

15th Burnley 33 points
16th Brighton 32 points (played 30 games)
17th Newcastle 32 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 26 points (played 32 games)
19th West Brom 21 points (played 30 games
20th Sheff Utd 14 points (played 30 games)

Looks over hard to see Fulham making up 6 points in 6 games they’ve lost all their momentum.

Next game is Arsenal (a) feels like that’s a must win game

Too bad Fulham can't get their act together. The relegation battle is always more entertaining when Newcastle go down and Geordies lose their proverbial.

31 games

15th Burnley 33 points
16th Brighton 33 points
17th Newcastle 32 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 26 points (played 32 games)
19th West Brom 24 points
20th Sheff Utd 14 points

West Brom now look like the side with momentum Leicester (a) and Villa (a) up next for them which they could cause a surprise in but you feel to get out they'd need at least 4 points from those 2 with Newcastle losing both their games.

Just feels like to little to late this time for Big Sam but how many times have we said that before he pulls off the miracle?

Newcastle get another win beating West Ham 3-2.

Think that’s the relegation battle done and dusted

Sheffield Utd are gone!

You would expect them to be a strong championship side next season hard to see them getting apart.

33 games

15th Southampton 36 points (played 31 games)
16th Newcastle 36 points
17th Brighton 34 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 27 points
19th West Brom 25 points
20th Sheff Utd 17 points

West Brom threw away 2 points in the last minutes at the weekend vs Villa but the equaliser had been coming and Newcastle getting a last minute point vs Liverpool.

It's basically all done I mean when was the last time that these 3 weren't the bottom 3?

34 games

15th Southampton 37 points (played 33 games)
16th Burnley 36 points
17th Newcastle 36 points
---------------------------
18th Fulham 27 points
19th West Brom 26 points
20th Sheff Utd 17 points

I keep wondering how haven't more teams been relegated officially yet could all be done and dusted if Fulham/West Brom don't win their next game.

West Brom are gone.

Allardyce finally has a PL relegation on his CV after all these years.

Fulham will go tonight if they don't win against Burnley.

Fulham are gone.

The battle is over 2 promoted sides go straight back down

Sheff Utd caught a few teams out in their first season but were found out and dropped like a stone in season two.

All 3 will be strong candidates to bounce straight back.
